The Sadness Of Falling
Sad to fall
I fell again today
A twist a scream
An elbow a knee scraped
On the ground catching my breath
Bystanders rushing to help-
Sad to fall
Sad to be old
Sad to be sad-
I'm back up again
Pen in hand-
But when will I fall again?
And when when will I fall
when I cannot get up again?
Sad to fall
Sad to be old
But good to be up again.
