The Sadness and The Beauty Go Together
The Sadness and Beauty go together
Life does not end without pain
But this old man
Telling his same stories
Again and again
Holds on in dignity.
The Beauty of the world
Still Around him
Still green and light
And wondrous
To see and be in.
