The Rain We Long Waited For Is Here
THE RAIN WE HAVE LONG WAITED FOR IS HERE
The rain we have long waited for is here-
It darkens the morning
And ices the eyes-
But warm inside
It deepens for me
Each green- greener-
The beauty of God’s world.
One day soon
The sun will shine
All will be fresh and new
We will be happy again.
