THE PROBLEMS OF THE WORLD
The problems of the world-
The problems of my own little life-
Problems and problems and problems.
A poem solves no problems
It escapes into itself
And makes a small world
In which the poet can hide.
The poem is the other world
The one where there is quiet and peace and calm and love
And all which makes one’s own dreams
A morning song.
