The Poetry At Times Seems
THE POETRY AT TIMES SEEMS
The Poetry at times seems
Like the last stand-
The little bit of what is left in me
Of all I dreamed in Writing.
The Poetry seems a means of Surviving
When all other ways of writing
Have been lost-
So much has been done
And not been done.
By these little words
I am holding on-
I do not know how much longer,
I will be able to.
