The Poem Began To Laugh
THE POEM BEGAN TO LAUGH
The poem began to laugh
And took me away with it in joy-
And I understood
Saying,
Just saying and feeling
Feeling and writing
Can be
Though it is an ordinary and simple thing
A way to the stars
And beyond them.
