The older I grow
The more dead there are-
Already there are far too many
Too many to miss and long to see again-
Life is cruel-
We live on and the dead are piled higher and higher-
One day we too will be thrown on the pile
Of others
Who knew and perhaps even loved us-
Life is cruel
