The Love We Have For Our Children
THE LOVE WE HAVE FOR OUR CHILDREN
The Love we have for our children
Goes beyond Reason Logic pride.
Is wild in its depth
And insane in its caring.
It makes each of us understand
What it is to love someone else
More than we love ourselves.
It teaches us
The Need for God
As perhaps
No other love can.
For don’t we pray to God
In our most intense way
When we pray
For God’s protection
Of our children?
