The stallion and the mare
Man seeks woman's hand
For her beauty or wallet.
Few men woman's hand
For her valour or command.
Man seeks woman's hand
For her virtues or arts.
Few men seek woman's hand
For her glamour or sports.
A stallion wants a mare
Not as fast as he is in run.
