You are in pursuit of her love
Whether she requites it or not.
The pain that you take for her
Is not at all painful but a pleasure.
Her every word is resounding.
Anything reminding her
Is the source of your energy.
You love her even in losing her.
Then your love is real
Not she, the loving, makes you happy.
