The Mind...
travels and travels
some more
non-stopping at
junctions
disregarding
the intersections and
intertwines
even if you say
that all those forty years
are faithful to your
side
the mind knows no
bounds
except the limits sets
by our own
hands
we should have let it
go and even be
gone without any
regrets at all
because it is its
nature
it is beyond our body
our hold
we should have
set it like our souls
ephemeral
infinite
always grasping for
what we have not
met
what we have not
tasted
that which shocks us
for a while
and yet
rightfully ours.
