this is the plan
book-less is the bookworm
in school empty handed
she wants to be as light
as a spider's web
as slick and thin as
the tick's feet
sliding on one of the bristles
of the Persian carpet
unloading
she slips through the crowd
in anonymity
one grain of sand
in the shores
of the common man
