i cannot be another
slave because you have
something to give me
i think that in
utter simplicity i do not
really need
anything
if you only told me that
all that you
can give is not
a thing
but your
self
i could have paused
a minute
think about it
and then
resolve to accept
you
somehow you are
still in the realm
of things
and i am in the realm
of persons
