The Collective: The Wandering Comet
There was a speck of distant light
Sundered from the kaleidoscopic vision
Inviting the veiled and gloomy night
Into a fleet out of derision
A meander in blithe, an unfettered flight
Conquering a cosmic liaison
And so I heard its trajectory will
Come this way and leave a trail
But before I knew the comet reeled
And slung away without a flail
And make a wish I failed until
Perished was this crystal hail
Come around again my lonely sky
With your evasive wonder-dusts
That scintillates the stars to cry
Entice me with your wanderlust
And whilst you waft where shadows fell, I'll lie
To futilely wait if forever must
Drift away and leave crumbs and trails
And the wisps of your tails will tell your tales
