This is the message that pierces the night holes
It moves along another facet of words
The one mirrored in lakes pronounced in a sea blue deep
Mariners winged shrieks to fly around an aureole Moon
It puts a fingertip gently on my lips
Whispering sh-sh-sh-sh the wavelengths of pale
Might bruise the silence of unspoken lights
Sundialed in clocks that move not clockwise
When virginity lost grains of sand they wept
When wisdom found in pearls they smiled they smiled
