Fractioned second
Sentiments evaporating
Wind's strong vitality drying our awakening
Old memories eating the time
Our fractured sight trying to catch
The glimpse of the light up to the point where
It starts melting down,
That light broken up into a rainbow of colors
Those colors in a given reason to create a new one.
My tangled mind keeping churning,
Inside my aching head,
My voice, like a crushed velvet, reaching its echoes..
Old words being heard disorderly everywhere,
Those old words scratching my memory.
Tears leaving the eyes and washing the scars of my soul,
When I keep that fractioned second frozen into this time
I understand that my body is a machine self aware
And willing to protect its own existence
I understand my wish.
