To Ensure Nothing Has Been Erased, Replaced or Changed
A merry-go-round accomplishes one thing...
A repetition.
Nothing in nature can compete with it.
Even seasons when they come and go,
Have within them subtle changes one notices.
It is an experience we all have come to live with.
But to ride on a merry-go-round,
Just to go around and around and around...
Reflects on one's nonexistent motivation.
Within a mental place that is kept internally safe.
Although restricting to a control when done.
Just to keep reliable circumstances,
Enforced to remain the way they are...
Reliably stagnant and fixed in position.
With a need to ensure nothing has been erased,
Replaced or changed!
And nothing within this jurisdiction...
Has any chance to go too far,
Anytime soon!
Not if it can be slowed to a stop to restart!
Not if a climate of renewal isn't welcomed to bloom.
And repeatedly sad are the lives of those entrapped!
