The Children
The children we birth
old wise souls returning
to planet earth
they will have great dreams
accomplish many feats in their time
we must support encourage
early learning
knowledge at a young age
will come so easily to them
we'll be shocked at how much
their seemingly young
minds can absorb
they'll have much to teach us
in time in their days and their nights
once they come to recognize their proper
place in our ever changing modern lives
