The Round Table
There's a table in the round
where great minds used to meet.
Imparted wisdom became its quest
and it became replete
with emanations of the time
of lofty prose and crafty rhyme.
And if I had the chance to sit
I hardly think that I would fit.
For my words are simple of today
and I find it hard to find a way
to sit among these notable ones
who were the literary phenomenoms.
