The Last Waltz Is Over
The last waltz is over
and we’ll leave together.
Then you will go your way
and I will go another.
Although the waltz is over
and we have to part,
you are still with me
deep within my heart.
Tomorrow is another day
and the dance begins again.
All day we’ll be dancing to the music
that should never end.
However no sooner does it start,
than it is over once again
and the last waltz is playing
as the evening descends.
