Fancy Dan
Fancy Dan had a big sedan
which he raced around the road,
its alright he told everyone
I have driven around these roads for years
and I know them like the back of my hand.
That I could do it with my eyes closed,
nothing ever changed
until one day his sedan he rearranged
and after the accident everyone asked what went wrong,
we though you knew these roads like the back of your hand.
I did but on that morning something changed, without warning
and I did not see it coming
as I was driving with my eyes closed.
Now Fancy Dan has to buy a brand new model sedan
and maybe he’ll remember
everything changes from one day to another.
You might think you know something well,
but you never know it at all.
Tomorrow it will change
and if you ignore that premise,
it might be you next time
that gets to rearrange.
