Ancient Scribbling

How did I get this ancient so very fast?
Seems like my 40th year is in the recent past.
Seventy one has just roared by like a freight train.
Now I trudge down the street in ever growing pain.

I truly believe in the reality of reincarnation.
These body parts were misused before my utilization.
I'm bald, but that feature causes me no fear;
What bothers me is each day there is less I can hear.

There's the deal about my memory and its phase;
Events of 50 years ago not bad… less for recent days.
As for my virility, I feel there is something wrong.
I tried to see four doctors, but the lines were too long.

I guess things aren't really as bad as they sound.
I had kidney-prostate cancer and am above ground.

Can’t pen good words, on her journey

Would like to pen a few lines,
yet, can’t do it, as I suffer from,
congestion of vague ideas and thoughts,
choking in my throat, fearsome.

An unknown fear, haunting,
uncalled for, might have born, from recent
train and plane accidents,
boat tragedy and derailment, strangling.

My niece’s recent mail to me.
shocking, yet, awesome and pleasant,
she is prepared to take a journey, by flight,
covering France, America and Rome.

My worry over her trip,
is quite unfounded,

Moving Background

At least this nondescript time is lightened by a new craze
of mine: full-cream milk powder, a lifesaver, coffee tastes
like heaven, and real butter on everything, it means I eat
less meat, hope more animals will live because of this, at
present all I read is hurricane Sandy & work documents

Life would have been unbearable if it was not for a James
Bond movie series with scenes I love and hate, the TV is
left on, volume turned down to give a feeling of freedom
when seeing something interesting in passing, enjoying
007's adventures as a moving background to my life

The more recent movies lack the theme music and cool
humour of the first Sean Connery reels, the recent films
contain scenes too bland and boring to watch - perfect
as a fantastic screen saver when life starts wounding
down and nothing remarkable is happening

The enchanted melting's of recent snow.

Exposed

With an obvious uncaring done,
Their recent tactics shown to everyone...
Has lost them much respect.
With a designation of them as a people,
Deserving of their lowlife status.

What is there left about them,
That can be admired?
Their selfishness described has been exposed.
What is there left about them,
Is aspiring with a wish to achieve?
Their status to show themselves,
Willing to allow to see others suffer and bleed?
