Fire or ice

Some say the world will end
when the Lord comes
and earth is speeding that way
to find its last day.

Whether by flames from God
or in a ice age
as some scientists say
where the planet will weather away,

Lightning

A seasonal war weaponed
Persistent in the vault of heaven
Vajrastra, agniastra, varunastra..
Whipping of silvery flashes
Forked tongue chained in bolts
From the welkin..who the missile-smith there
Devas and asuras.. grand-pa explicates

Battling heaven flashes, splashes
Agonised breath clouds
Mercy-showers drum acclamation for devas
Havocked-pour thunderbolts for... asuras

Missiles

The troops of a missile are confident for victory
Every time they fire, and when this approaches
A fine task has been beheld, how audacious!

The intercontinental ballistic missile
Will triumph over older forms of weaponry
As the troops of the Earth shall conquer.

They sped so abhorrently across the borders
To reach the point of invasion, so readily
Accepted by the aggressed, and how bolder!

The missiles accumulate for centuries
But the ammunition is needing
And folly has been arrested.

Can the forces of highest nature
Win for the whole of humanity?

Aerodynamic Lips

Press the pause key and hold it right there,
Freeze frame the love that is in the air,
Can you see the curvature of her face,
Of which my eyes must caress in trace,
In this snapshot you can hear the theme,
The title track that keeps your soul agleam,
Whispered words float on vibrant strings,
As kisses are sent to me on flowing wings,
Flying across the distance to find my cheek.
Like a modern cupid my heart she does seek,
But she no longer uses a bow and arrow,
Now she’s armed with a mouth silo,
Ready to launch a love missile,
Aimed to make me eternally smile,
Target locked straight onto my heart,
Real love and care is about to start!
The missile explodes and my heartbeat does accelerate,
My breath becomes so excited that I hyperventilate,
Leaving me in breathless gasps of fevered ardour,
Causing my ecstatic emotions to stratospherically soar!

A Dream Of Autumn

Mellow hazes, lowly trailing
Over wood and meadow, veiling
Somber skies, with wildfowl sailing
Sailor-like to foreign lands;
And the north-wind overleaping
Summer's brink, and floodlike sweeping
Wrecks of roses where the weeping
Willows wring their helpless hands.

Flared, like Titan torches flinging
Flakes of flame and embers, springing
From the vale the trees stand swinging
In the moaning atmosphere;
While in dead'ning-lands the lowing
Of the cattle, sadder growing,
Fills the sense to overflowing
