Torch' Relay Hits Town
From many miles around, the people came
To catch a glimpse of the Olympic Flame.
The Torch was the focus of a huge celebration:
It visited places the whole length of the nation.
The excited crowds began to steadily flock
In to the town centre at around three o'clock.
As crowds waited to see the lucky Torchbearers,
They agreed that the weather could not be fairer.
Local children were given the day off from school:
They all considered that this was really quite cool!
Many of the local roads were temporarily closed:
A nightmare for motorists, this arrangement posed.
I felt disappointed that I had to work on that day,
But to the doorway of our shop, I made my way.
I could hear the assembled crowd's excited cheers,
And I knew that the Torch must be drawing near.

Typically, an historic site is considered by the National Park Service to contain a single historical feature, while generally a National Historic Park extends beyond single properties or buildings.

If anyone thinks that Jews can steal into the land of their fathers, he is deceiving either himself or others. Nowhere is the coming of Jews so promptly noted as in the historic home of the Jews, for the very reason that it is the historic home.

Cathi
Thank you for loving me,
For it was like a historic visit to be with your muse;
And there our hands wrote to explore our gifts.
I nned you like the flower which needs the sun,
With bettter things to add after the job is done;
So, try to rule on this love that i may serve you.
You are Cathi with the muse of love,
And i am glad to meet you my love;
For it was like a historic visit to be with your muse.

Ouray, America
Ouray is a historic city in Colorado
It really takes you back a step
The buildings are very old and charming
For that is exactly the way it was kept
In 1975, the prospectors arrived
As they were looking for silver and gold
The history of Ouray, Colorado
Is the kind that history books have told
Way up in the rugged mountains
Is where this city is found
Can you imagine what it was like
To build a city on unstable ground?
It’s exciting, don’t you think?
To visit rugged historic spaces
Ouray, a city in America
Is one of those special places!

Caricatures
Bad mouthing others,
Seems to be always done by those...
Who believe they are on the rise,
Of some social circuit acceptance.
Until they realize,
They have become caricatures...
In an environment of people,
Seeking only to be entertained.
No interest is given,
To create or leave anything that sustains...
Or maintains an historic substance.
Unless what is being created,
'Is' historic and valued as having substance.
And that usually is not determined,
By those staring at entrances and exits...
To approve the arrival of who enters.
With a glance of a nearby clock to acknowledge,

In Ballarat Where History Don't Fade
In Ballarat where history don't fade
They still honour the Eureka Stockade,
The miners who fought some of them even died
For their rights to them that for years they had been denied
The Town of Ballarat known far and wide
And the people there in their history take pride
Their ancestors fought against their oppressors laws
And even took up arms for their worthy cause.
The name of Peter Lalor they revere
He led the miners fight and conquered fear
But for his fame a huge price he did pay
He lost an arm on that historic day.
The miners were defeated in the bloody fight
They succumbed to the Government forces greater might
But they won their rights for which they went to war
And the story of their bravery travelled far.

Not One to Contemplate Exactness
I am not one to contemplate exactness.
Or become absorbed in facts.
Especially those that are plagiarized...
To distort the origins that contradict,
From an updated freshness...
With a quick paste and clip,
To enhance what is not historic.
Like myths and legions created,
To add more flavor to the actual reality.
Instead of sweepers of streets...
Some folks are lead to believe,
They have royalty in their ancestry!
And when someone tells me they know this to be true...
I think of the Quakers and Puritans!
And others who sailed the ocean blue...
To discover a land for me and you!
Please!

Suited In Demon Evils
Anyone can see...
They need to be strung up by their feet,
For treason.
An economy has been devastated,
By an historic greed.
Staged to bleed a people for their oil.
But the odds have not been in their favor.
Those suited in demon evils.
Not to flavor those of higher consciousness...
With a taste to dismiss such wickedness expressed.
Anyone can see...
They need to be strung up by their feet,
For treason.
Anyone,
That is...
Except for those limited with addictions,
Of self indulgence and the restricted belief...
