Smoking is the now the principal avoidable cause of premature death in Britain. It hits the worst off people hardest of all. Smoking is one of the principal causes of the health gap which leads to poorer people being ill more often and dying sooner.

Detached

The more I see and realize who I am,
I am able to observe those hiding!
Behind masks they believe shields them,
From scrutiny and observation!
They say anything to be believed.
Choosing to be unfocused,
As if protected by fog, smog...
Or other pollutants,
Keeping their thoughts clogged!
It took time to define my vision.
They have no clue,
I am not playing peek a boo.
Even their minds are detached.
Wasting their time attached to mismatches.
Which makes their existence avoidable!

Dragging And Biting

Drag and bite, drag and bite
The man with the mirror;
His hand carries a labour
To hold the whole glass-object.
Kick the stretched woman,
Into oblivion as the avoidable has
Occurred.

May the bites of eternal length
Suspend the whole of existence.
My offence matches the other pains,
Many defend me.

Dragging a corpse into the golden chamber

Locks Cut 1359

A snip first here then there, O what distress!
New shorn, life's locks no longer mask years' grey,
Now evident it seems that she must pay
In white Time's ransom where once shone jet tress!
Each single hair is mourned, all can confess
Sharp pangs, where one stray fingers used to play
Little remains. "'Twill grow again! " she'll say -
O ever on must one mistrust missed tress!
Cascading braids that garland fair mistress
Kindle lustful longings night and day.
Sweet locks cropped, lopped, lip-service lead astray
Creates a void avoidable, few bless.
Uncut is Cupid's knot, bow arrrow shorn,
Time flees, betrayal mortal men must mourn.

Imaginary

The imaginary power takes over the world, and the people in it.
Making minute things important, and important things unnecessary.
And so the world turns.

The imaginary status places and artificial happiness over the world, and the people in it.
Creating avoidable conflicts to arise at new magnitudes.
And so the world turns.

The imaginary wealth controls the world, and the people in it.
Presenting new desirable ideas to replace the already insufficient ones.
And so the world turns.

The imaginary need drives selfishness in the world, and the people in it.
Allowing happiness, fear, and lust to lead their lives.
And so the world turns.

This world is unfortunately not imaginary,
Going day to day with imaginary things at the center of the lives of all.
Soon the world will no longer turn.

Bladed

Bladed
How dull is the knife wielded in passion's ire
which lands that menacing blow
where the bad time amplifies
tragedy's plateau
and wounds grow with time.

Things small
sometimes sting the most
tiny cuts which swell despite the years
And we allow them so
because their very smallness ires us so
we see they were avoidable
yet
that blade sliced thin slivers
which in time became infected
