935 Sapphire Birthstone Of September
Dipyramidal - sweet sapphire
Saturation tone and hue
All contribute to sapphires richness
A precious stone of azure blue
Kings - Knights and Knaves would all desire
Their fairest ladies to adorn
A cool blue stone - but full of fire
Dipyramidal - sweet sapphire.
Sapphires gems of situation
Sri Lanka - Kashmir - other places
Pink (padparadshas) - yellow - white
And even green - through iron traces.
Blue is sapphire's presentation
It speaks of truth and constancy
Insight and interpretation.
Sapphires gems of situation.
Sapphire birthstone of September
Bringing calmness - healing tensions

Sita - 2
Sita
stumbling with the stones of forest
reached the cottage of
Maharshi Balmiki
the great sage gave her shelter
to stay in the cottage
Sita spend her days and nights
with the tribals
in the memory of her beloved husband
gave birth of two sons
Lav and Kush
both sons were brought up with tribals
acquired the knowledge and
to sing the Ramayana
one day both sons reached
the palace of his father
begging and singing on Ramayana
a long story is hidden in between
when Sita met her beloved husband
she prayed the mother earth

The scene of a bomb blast
The scene of a bomb blast
Bodies and body parts strewn all over the place
Hand bags, slippers and other belongings of people too
People are shouting and groaning with pain
The road is flooded by the blood of people injured and died
The survivors trying to help the badly injured
The rescuers helping the injured to go to hospital
What a tragedy
The siren of ambulances says that there was a mishap somewhere
In buses, in trains, on the road
Everywhere explosives find
No place seems safe for people to travel
Some people getting maimed for life
Husbands, wives, children losing their loved ones
Oh! I never dreamt to see this type of scene
In my beloved motherland
It’s bleeding unto death

Lord tells you on your wedding day.....
I will make the sun shine bright on your wedding day
and I will make your night as a beautiful and peaceful one
I will make the heaven to throw his blessings to you
and I will show you how much I love you my son
Today is your wedding day and its the most beautiful day for you
A man and a woman promise each other in front of me to live together forever
and an oath of life between both of you can not be broken till the end
Trust each other and make your journey to the greatest love
Have a faith on me then I will protect you in many ways
and I will make your life worth to live the way you want to do so
Show your availability by coming to this church for prayers
and I will show you my ability through my precepts my son
Always, have a kind word for those who needs help
Always, give your heart for those who loves me
Always, make others to understand my strength and power
Always, have a hearty appetite to follow my steps my son

Oh peace, where do I find you.....
Oh peace, where do I find you
I search you everywhere in my country but I could not find you
Oh peace, our countrymen love to have you in their hearts
but now your presence is not there to have a peaceful life.
Oh peace where do you go and where can I find you
I see our mothers tears in my country more than rain has poured
I see our nation's charming beauty is lost and its taken away from many acts of hate
I see our people wandering like broken arms to recover their lost freedoms
I see our people beautiful brotherly smiles lost where anger knows no boundaries
I see our people often plant a seed of peace to grow smoothly
but often its burn like a wild fire to the ash by our leaders
We are yet to free from political terrorism and thugs in our own country
and they have trapped us behind shelter of broken promises and blatant lies
Always, life seems to be enjoyed with another man's hearts pain
Oh peace, what have we done to you for you to keep us away within reach
If our country is peaceful, it will blossom like a flower
There is nothing more precious than peace in this world
But peace without justice will not make any nation peaceful
because injustice is the enemy of peace
So, let us find peace where ever it is there within our reach in our minds and hearts

Wishing All Our Sri Lankans blessings for A Great Year….
A beautiful Island glitters, a serenity filled atmosphere
The advancing IT world, Lankans steady in their progress
Loyal devoted our Sri Lankans rise above the trivial mess
The day dawns and united we see another old year out
As we prepare to welcome a new start without fear no doubt
A new beginning we hope and pray forever together we stand
The curtain falls on another year to bring in a wonderland
The Auspicious time rings in the Aluth Avruddha 2012 Year

Let us not mind the happiness...
Let us not mind the happiness and the grief that come our way,
For they are inseparable from our life.
None can evade them, for Lord Raghunath himself has inlaid them!
Let us not mind the happiness and the grief that come our way!
Even an upright man like King Nala, whose wife was Queen Damayanti,
Had to roam half-naked in the forest without food or water.
Let us not mind the happiness and the grief that come our way!
Even the mighty brothers like the Pandavas,
Who had Queen Draupadi for a wife,
Underwent hardships for twelve long and exacting years in the forest Without even proper sleep.
Let us not mind the happiness and the grief that come our way!
Even a woman as chaste as Sita,
Whose husband was none other than the Lord,
Was abducted by Ravana and subjected to suffer terrible misery,
Let us not mind the happiness or the grief that come our way!
Even the King as powerful as Ravana, who had Mandodari as queen,

The vagabond that holds a World Citizen Passport?
He's informed by the Euro Lottery Board for winning the biggest prize.
And until it comes he has taken a loan from a bank.
As he wants to visit Sri Lanka.
He visited the ancient rock Sigiriya.
A woman in the frescoes with garlands of flowers
Fall in love with him.
He promised to take her to some landmarks of the World.
Here they go;
She's surprised by seeing Taj Mahal and thought of Shah Jahan & Mumtaz Mahal
If they too are like them?
Then they have been to Angkor Wat in Cambodia
And luckily Polpot was not there.
Opera house in Australia and they talked to some native Aborigines.
Pyramids of Giza in Egypt among the rebels.
O Parthenon in Greece where the civilization begun.
They watched the bell ringing in St.Basil's Cathedral, Russia.
In Tanzania marvelous mountain Kilmanjaro
And they climbed the Eifel Tower with a French tour guide.
Stonehenge in England joined the colonial friends
And the mountain top Cristo Redentor the statue of Jesus Christ in Brazil.

Where Have You Gone, My Kin?
Where have gone these Asian tigers and Anopheles?
As the westerly winds blocked the breeze from the sea,
Chennai is sweltering at 43 degree celcius.
A thousand have fallen to sunstroke in the nearby State.
But where they are now, is a mystery?
They must have air-dashed to Swiss bank
to deposit their hard earned money; you may call it “ bribe”.
They could have visited China and Pakistan in stealth
to query why don’t they support India, an Asian Nation,
for annihilating the terrorists in Kashmir,
as they lent support to Sri Lanka to wipe out
Tamil Freedom Tigers who were fighting for freedom?
They throve well in Chennai as a community
with more than 3000 species loving each other
and casting bogus votes during the polls.
Distilling and selling arrack was their wonted trade.
They identify their kin by the length of proboscis
as people do by a beard or sword,
a cross-belt or a cross round the neck,
