Quotes about fickle, page 8
My Words, My Hand
Wealth is empty, love is fickle;
Gold is the friendship I give -
Prayers, though subtle
From this heart, receive!
Life is but once, so I stand
My chance is only Now,
Take my words and my hand -
Be blessed with peace, somehow.

Do Not Fade Away
my friend, do not ever fade away
to us, who are here, loving you, you shall forever glow
not in the sky
so fickle to the movement of the spinning circle
revolving in limitless space
my friend to our hearts
you shall shine forever

Writing In The Air
Why he is writing in the air
Why he is writing in the air
He writes but no billetdoux
There are limitless sanctions no fair
The love is all as it is not fair
The fickle-minded prima facie lost its pair
Life is not like husky flute player

The Mirror
The mirror held your fair, my Fair,
A fickle moment's space.
You looked into mine eyes, and there
For ever fixed your face.
Keep rather to your looking-glass
Than my more constant eyes:
It told the truth - Alas! my lass,
My faithful memory lies.

Faith No More
Faith it is fickle and like a swinging door,
What have we got, when faith is no more,
An inpenetrable black, a cloud of deceit,
Lacking of God where is the retreat,
A flickering light switch, and a band on the door,
Is there a heaven when faith is no more?

Inconsistency
Your Love off-key
Sings a fickle melody of changing tones,
Shall vex this frozen heart to Ice
That breaks.

Notes From The Shore
myriad are the colors
of the sea at storm
the fickle lover-sea
kept changing his colors
at each teasing breath of laila
her passion brewing beyond
the defined coast-line
o, the way storm unsettles
the sea is beyond imagination
how the sea roared and
roared in utter helplessness!

My Questions
When my love was just a trickle
And my mind was still fickle
I had one question
“To live
With you?
Or without you? ? ”
Once our love was settled
Our hearts and thoughts mingled;
And our souls melded
I have only one question
“Without you;
To live?
Or not to live? ? ”

Imitation of Tibullus
Sulpicia ad Cerinthum
[From Sulpicia to Cerinthum]
Cruel Cerinthus! does the fell disease
Which racks my breast your fickle bosom please?
Alas! I wish'd but to o'ercome the pain,
That I might live for love and you again;
But now I scarcely shall bewail my fate:
By death alone I can avoid your hate.

Confession of an Allegorical Poet
Haughty, Fickle and often prickly is she
I bow deeply, kiss her hand...find favor
She looses an incoming tide of ideas
I cast my net into her briny blue water
Offer a humble prayer for a fine catch,
What will it be today, a sardine, a whale?
It matters not;
I’m fishing a bottomless sea of creativity
