Waiting On The Right Flame

A new page for this new age
Letting lose all the sorrow and rage
One look turns a heart to stone
Come close and I'll break a bone
Don't tell me I didn't warn you
I warned all the others too
But they all tried to melt the ice
And I don't play that nice
If you want to try your luck
Don't play it by the book
Surprise me and you might leave alive
It all depends on your will to survive
‘It only takes one' he said
To finally melt the ice, turn your cheeks red
But it seems that one isn't you
I guess I should just wait for someone new

There is no ice that will never melt

There is no ice that will never melt
Slowly, gradually
Though freeze to sleep forever
Or not be moved by emotion
Slowly, gradually
It’s not needed fire arms
It’s not needed the right law
Only time
Slowly, gradually
The cold drips in my hands
Like a burning candle
Like a bleeding body
Gone into puddle

There is no ice that will never melt
Slowly, gradually
Will it be a thin hope
Or silent word
Slowly, gradually
It’s not needed genius mind

Every Time

You walk into a room..
I melt on contact
You look at me with those beautiful blue eyes…
I disintegrate
You smile at me..
I'm gone with the wind
You tell me you love me..
And I fall so hard for you
You tell me you don't want to be together..
I can see that's not true
He's pumped you full of lies..
That blows my chance with you.

You walk into a room..
I melt on contact
You look at me with those beautiful blue eyes…
I disintegrate
You smile at me..
I'm gone with the wind
You tell me you love me..

No One's Friend

she's no one's friend
she's no one's friend
at mornings she wants to be dead
so lonely
so desperately lonely and sad
she just wants it all end

she's no one's friend
she's no one's friend
all days and nights run gray and blend
so empty
so hopelessly empty and drab
she waits for them all to end

no one's friend
books on the shelves
dreams melt away in her head
nothing ever will help
nothing ever helps

Starlight In Your Eyes

Some lyricist once wrote
“I want to melt the
Starlight in your eyes.”

I wish I could think up
A romantic phrase like that
Instead of trite lines
That seem so pat.

I try to write
In my desperation
Guess I need to fall in love again
To receive an inspiration.

Fall in love—
That’s a good explanation
For man’s
Ubiquitous intoxication.

With that

The lightest touch.

Softly he touched me, gently as a breeze
that wafts this way and that, swaying summer hats.

Gently he caressed, with words so honey combed and sweet,
to melt the coldest heart, my moment was complete.

Sinking into sugar brown eyes, his soft brown skin
and big ‘huggy' grin, we seemed to melt each other from within.

The summer grass, it filled my head within this bed of ecstasy,
I lay beneath the lilac tree; its scent was drifting over me.

Our hands found each other, we kissed, my eyes brimmed over
to think, some day, this moment I might miss.

How sad in life all things move on and like the flowing waves
we lovers separated to go our different ways,

but as tears sting my eyes and burn into my heart
I've one more memory to share; he had the lightest touch.

Somewhere with the grimreaper (new version of somewhere over the rainbow)

Somewhere with the grimreaper
Where thorns thrive!
There's a place I’ve seen
In a nightmare.

Somewhere with the grim reaper
Death shall come,
And the things you dare to do
You really do, do here

Someday I’ll hear a knock
And go to the door and find,
Death
Where dreams melt like candlewax
Way above the rose’s thorns
That’s where I’m lost

Somewhere with the grim reaper
Bluebirds die
Blood flys over the nightmare

Stopped From Their Chirping

The cold and Winter mix,
Many wish would disappear.
Will soon melt away...
As Spring approaches.
And is near.

There is a flooding done,
When a flowing of water...
Comes to stun!
But most of us will have our wish.
That winter mix is gone.

And so are our prized possessions...
Floating down a river,
As if it now owns all of it!

The cold and Winter mix,
Many wish would disappear.
Will soon melt away...
As Spring approaches.

Minister for Exams

When I was a child I sat an exam.
This test was so simple
There was no way i could fail.

Q1. Describe the taste of the Moon.

It tastes like Creation I wrote,
it has the flavour of starlight.

Q2. What colour is Love?

Love is the colour of the water a man
lost in the desert finds, I wrote.

Q3. Why do snowflakes melt?

I wrote, they melt because they fall
on to the warm tongue of God.

There were other questions.

Name Meaning Perceptions of Falling Snow

The Inuit have contested sixteen words for snow
sixteen words to define different types of snow
all necessary to define joys dangers of gift snow
in their adaptive interactive struggle to survive

in a harsh unforgiving landscape of seasoned ice
need determines skills necessary to comprehend
qualities differences which states of snow foretells
auspicious powder fleet or driving icicles of snow

industrial humans dwelling in warm created cities
need only to know how to turn on window wipers
how to travel or not to travel if storm warnings pend
how to drive slower safer break or skid in drift snow

wrong glaciers melt rapid global warming wicked hurricanes
English need has many words for lost snow did you not know
avalanche blizzard hard pack powder melt sleet slush snow
flakes hoar frost ice run off ice shelf ice park permafrost lost
