Quotes about ecstasy, page 6

Mystery

Now I am all
One bowl of kisses,
Such as the tall
Slim votaresses
Of Egypt filled
For a God's excesses.

I lift to you
My bowl of kisses,
And through the temple's
Blue recesses
Cry out to you
In wild caresses.

And to my lips'
Bright crimson rim
The passion slips,
And down my slim
White body drips
The shining hymn.

The ecstasy

(after John Donne)

From the start although it had been
great ecstasy and our loving
had been better than anything and we were keen,
we had a deep understanding

and although it were at times gentle and powerfully severe,
the fun and joy and moment’s bliss was unperplex
while nothing did with the loving interfere,
we both knew that it had been much greater than just sex

while our hands, fingers and bodies did intertwine
and for long moments
in all things, in intimacy you were mine;
there were some elements

of a different thing
of a principle, of love a greater understanding.

A Beam of Light

As intuition
sweetens, sweeps senses, doors open
onto fruition.

Bursting bright, baring
intimate enlightenment
links souls insight sharing.

Light weaving laughter
assuages inhibitions -
superfluous hereafter.

Sounds of soft music
reflect starry skies' surprise,
bring belonging magic.

Ecstasy appears
to overwhelm misfortune,
love banishing fears.

The Wish To Be Wrong....

i've been looking for myself
i know where
and so i went in you
where i can be home

i feel this frenzy
of heart bursting into flames
i dare
look longer to that place where
i am truly me
there is this tension that swings from
ecstasy to ecstasy

there is this call to go back and be at peace
it is from faraway now

i dare not to listen
i am now at home and i gaze at that which makes me feel at home
on the night where i never sleep
but is never tired till

Journey of ecstasy

Silent ocean make tides when moon is near.
Life is lovely when someone is so dear.
The reason is clear, love fragrance is in air.
Desire are extreme, we all lay on fantasy.
Found you in Gaia, heart is full of ecstasy.

Walking lonely, lost of lust, truth in soul.
Living in land, roaming in eden, forget meal bowl.
Thought of beloved, tears in spring season.
I am still happy, you are giving me reason.
I had fainted, when i saw you with white pigeon.
you are here, these ecstasy are in notion.

Filling water in vacuum vessel, is so affirmative.
This vacant heart, got in love, you are supermative.
I was nonsense, dull you were truly informative.
My life was at dead-end, you shaped it lucrative.
I am in love with you, love you forever anyway.

How Many Non- Beautiful Poems Must Be Written

How many non-beautiful poems must be written
Before one beautiful poem can emerge?
How many longings for love must a person know
Before their one true love comes?
How many times must one love one’s true love
Before one can never bear to be again without that Ecstasy?
How many times must one sense that Ecstasy gone
Before one knows that she is forever lost?
How many pleading meaningless words must be spoken to return her
Before one knows that she has forever gone?

How many words must be written
Before there is one true poem?
And how many poems must be said to one’s love
Before she listens and denies and goes far away to her own poem
Only she and not the one who has loved her with all his soul
Will ever know and be at home with?

Inspiration for Grand daughter Chitra

The agony and ecstasy
of love inspires poetry
Which otherwise would not exist.
I am quite sure it would be missed.

Though I can only speak for me
I find romantic poetry
can pass the time so pleasantly.
Arousing instant sympathy.

For those who love but love in vain.
Who choose to share with me their pain
and those who win their hearts desire.
Set forth their joy in words of fire.

I read as if I’m in a trance.
Vicariously enjoy romance.
experience at second hand.
Love stories I can understand.

Let The Body Speak

do you know
that this ancient body
longs to speak
devoid of niceties
bereft of metaphors
the only language it knows-
the language of
agony and ecstasy
when desire strikes with
the intensity of a boomerang
hurled eons ago when
we roamed the earth?
…it’s the same
unsettling feeling
then and now too...
and when the body
begins to speak
scrawling its unique alphabet
without guilt
without frills

Visions of Serenity

Within the shadows of the night
Desire is ash as burned too bright,
Did the vision scorn my eyes?
What kingdom lay within the skies?

Beyond the kiss of inner light
Love is ash as burned too bright
Did the angel sing with her eyes?
To keep me from a kingdom sky?

Alone, alone so far from home
The night is as a kingdoms throne.
Angels sing as angels sigh
As laughing I lay down to die.

Kiss me quick, I’m melting fast
Fabric drips into the past,
All for what? To know the sigh
Of an angel from a kingdom sky

South-Westerly-2

What ecstasy you've got into
Tumbling home, me and all you do

Frisky sometimes in perfect rhyme
Frowning sometimes in hassling mime

Breeziest breeze but not a gale
Brisk hurling litters all in bale

See, the surging sea..you're roaring
Upping, upping tides overlapping

See, the flying birds..you're pushing
Downing down in your tilting

See, the tottering trees..you're beating
Fluttering leaves in your strewing

See, the slamming doors..you're hitting
Drying clothes far in your tumbling
