Quotes about dot, page 6
Dot Com
Its a wide world out there
So much wider than imagined
I cant quite put my finger on the pulse
Of your heart softly beating
Just beneath the raw silk sheen
That reflects the tints of autumn from the hills.
So punch my name.
And in case you wonder -
Ill be yours - yours, dot com.
Executive accommodation
Bland but nonetheless appealing
Waiters discretely at your beck and call
Place the tall sun-down potion
Lightly by your velvet elbow
While you compose a message on the wall.
So punch my name.
And in case you wonder -
Ill be yours - yours, dot com.
With your handmade leather valise
Packed and ready, ready waiting

P.S. I Love You
Shes gone away
and still they stay together
people call me crazy, crazy
my thoughts progress
I think about forever
my mind tells me maybe maybe
I wish i could drive away to the sunset
back to the day that we first met
only believe the things i wrote
i put it in a note yeah
cross my T's and dot my I's
Better say hello
dont you dare say goodbye
Ill write sincerly yours and sign my name
P.S I love you
forever and today
Two weeks go by
its like its been the weather
the rain falls down
shes crying crying

A Self Called Nowhere
Im sitting on the curb
By the empty parking lot
Of the store where they let me play the organ
Im waiting for my ride
But I want to wait inside
Of the store where they let me play the organ
But Im thinking of a wooden chair
In a room at the top of a stair
And Im looking down the stairwell
At the vanishing dot
On the map of the spot
Let me take you there
The dotted line
Surrounding the mind
Of a self called nowhere
Its a thing named it
In a bottomless pit
You cant see it there
The sunken head
That lies in the bed

Four Snortets, A Parody With Fondness For Thomas Stearns Eliot
'Now we come to discover that the moments of agony...are likewise permanent with such permanence as time has...Or even a very good dinner, but the sudden illumination-We had the experience but missed the meaning.' - from 'The Dry Salvages' by T.S. Eliot
1
Burnt Snortin'
Mister, or Sir, rather, Thomas Sterns Eliot left his evening door,
late middle age, having lived into the postmodern 'new' millennium,
having again reiterated his propounded new diet whereupon
wandering on a deserted shore near mumbling twilight one might
meet a most inarticulate soft peach or unutterable yet edible Christ,
or a close match, a little kidding, upon which we may, if we dare,
reiterative quartet playing plaintive though palliatively, dine four
squarely in Piccadilly sempiternal before getting sodden after
sundown, preferably on Friday, which is a good time to do it, to eat
and drink again, remembering that it is end of the week, out of the tube
finally unethered, trousers unrolled at last, the mission to get plastered,

Change Clothes
[Intro: Jay-Z (Pharrell)]
Uh, uh, uh, yeah, uh, your boy is back
(Sexy sexy) I know y'all miss the bounce
Need to bounce for the sexy you know
[Verse 1: Jay-Z]
Yeah ma, your dude is back, made back roof is back
Tell the whole world the truth is back
You ain't got to argue about who could rap
Cause the proof is back just go through my rap
New York New York yeah where my troopers at
Where my hustlers where my boosters at
I don't care what you do for stacks
I know the world glued you back to the wall
You gotta brawl to that
I been through that, been shot at shoot back
Gotta keep it peace like a buddhist
I ain't a New Jack nobody 'gon Wesley Snipe me
It's less than likely, move back
Let I breathe Jedi knight
The more space I get the better I write

A fragment
I am a dot and infinity around,
The dot is then tightly bound,
With a rope of fate, chain of chance;
How should I move on the ground.

Waiting For the Dot
See my love!
You said me, “Go on lucky.”
And I went on,
I did not remember you,
For it was of no use,
But when I looked behind,
I saw you at a distance,
Like a dot,
Alone laming along the path,
Now I have abandoned my journey,
And wait till the dot again
Comes near.

The gliding death angel
Only a dot is caught
in the early morning air
of the eagle
in its morning flight
where almost invisible small
it hangs storeys high
in radial winds
in a little dot against the blue
before with stretched out claws
lightning fast
as a shadow
it falls from heaven
with death
striking in precision.

Satellite Observations
The satellite
Spins around
The revolving
Rock of blue
In the endless
Shade of night,
The emptiness
Time falls through.
From a distance,
From somewhere
Above the sky,
The Earth glows
Like a beacon,
A light house
Beside a sea
Of shadows.
The pylons dot
The surface

The Universe
From point of view of mass
The universe is nothing but
A little bit of saliva of God.
God’s body is only a few meters tall
But His glow is so big
His body seems like a dot to it.
Even God’s visible glow is so small
When God expands it to show His body
It seems like a dot to God’s invisible glow.
Nevertheless God’s body can become so big
The universe seems like a little bit of saliva of It.
