Thoughts and Theme

I feel startled and ashamed
When come across such thoughts and theme
Where poet expresses defeatist view
Venture into field and express which is not due

What loss world may suffer if you commit suicide?
How would you face people when unable to hide?
Think of futile bid you make and escape unhurt?
Let that energy be stored in corner and not revert

Why there is sea change in concept?
I have witnessed downward trend and wept
We are responsible for creating new world order
Create tension free world for people living across the borders

'The thing of beauty is joy for ever' still rings in ears
It has not changed its power and theme over the years
Love is eternal and may not change till the centuries
It may even create nice feelings in the heart of adversaries

Poets of The Electron Dream

There is a single factum
for the current century
which has
All Meaning
for Poetry.

The Physicists
have
since the 1920's
told us that electrons
can be in two different places
simultaneously.

The Principle of Uncertainty.

They have finally caught up with
Poets who
have long
argued that
Poetry comes

The Sun and The Moon

As the Sun
Sets on the Sea
With its reddish glow
And orange hues...
The day shades in for me
Awakening the
Night of Darkness
Within me...

And the setting Sun
On the horizon
Beckons me
Nearer to it
As if asking me
To seek shelter
In its radiant warmth
And magnanimous
Splendour...

Yet when I see

How to hurt

You had decided any how to hurt
You become rude and in reply very curt
You had some misgivings in mind
And that has lead you to become blind

if that is so then try honestly
you may end your quest abruptly
you will have nothing else left with
but only to crush the tongue in between teeth

If you going to be right
then where is need to fight
where is need to miss and cry
but never feel hesitant to rush to me even if u feel shy

I knew you were restless
You had problems numerous and countless
You tried to hide it on face lines
It was not at all reflecting fine

American Youths

They filled our heads
with so many dark delusions

they glorified devil and vice
dug the grave of truth and virtue
gave us greed in place of bread

built the iron temple of I
atop the hollowed ground of God
lulled us to sleep
with star spangled
anthems of war

They gift wrapped our reality,
trimmed the fat, seasoned it up,
spoon fed us all we could stomach

Millions of youthful imaginations
held captive for commercial ransom,
kidnapped by fugitive TV screens

In Memoriam

O FRIEND who passed away while flowers died,
Now that the land bursts into bloom again,
With vivid blossoms o'er the landscape wide,
Purple and white 'mongst, grasses golden-eyed,
In beauteous resurrection o'er the plain,—

My thoughts revert to thee, who liest still,
Under the pulsing, stirring, glowing earth;
Not rising with the lilac on the hill,
Not waking with the sunny daffodil,
Living and breathing with no second birth.

In these sweet days I dream I see thy grave,
A mockery of death, alive with flowers.
The delicate sprays and tender grasses wave,
Blue violets and the hardy crocus brave,
Wooed back to life by sunshine, dew, and showers.

I cannot deem that thou art lying there,
Asleep through all these fervent days of spring;

Miss You Badly

I was selfish and erring human
She was exception and lovely woman
I call her my mother and best in world
How safe I was when went to her fold!

I cry to full extent and miss badly
I have no memory and spent day very sadly
O mom! Show me your face at least once
I have tried but have no more chance

I vividly remember being at orphanage
Somebody had wrapped me and dropped near drainage
I was taken to child home and brought up with care
World was so small for me to go somewhere

I understand you may be threatened by dark clouds
It may be puzzling you with lightening sound
How terrible it might have been to make night round!
dropp the child at wild place and never to be found

Painful to rememeber

How painful it is to remember past days?
Especially when you are brought up with hard ways
Hands were trying to reach for two square meals
And utter failure in making any honorable deal

Parents looking helplessly for future of child
Showing no sign of weariness but act very mild
N0 sign of desperation and dealing with presence of mind
With the only hope that some solution is there to find

The animals too go or pass through same condition or similar
I memorize my parent seized with their love for me in particular
What I could not understand most was their stubborn attitude?
Why were they still refusing to budge from faith with gratitude?

They were not fully clothed and witnessed all the seasons
I could see no visible sign of fatigue with any of the reasons
May I was the only hope for their bright tomorrow
They did not bother or surrendered or other things to allow

The Anti-Travel Travel Poem

The anti-travel travel poem suggests the road
romance & regrets
the endless paperwork we left behind
I dreamed of walking boots that wouldn’t lace
anti-travellers can never get lost
in a swamp of Choice we must take
the American grid pattern endless
military runways, the borders
of Empire, take-off zone & rabbit fence
keeping peace at the ruined city gate
where crows consider life in a decommissioned bomber
the line I have lain too long on the beach
staring at the awesome winter surf
is prelude to destruction & creation
the anti-travel travel poem does not
ask for directions on a road no one’s taken
it is time arrested at six-ways crossroad
where cremation crews put shoulder to the Prince’s corpse
malicious hangers-on decide its time to quit
and humans go on burning quietly

Rightful Owners.

Rightful owners.

I was the first born of the first born race.
The chosen ones that knew not sin or shame
before the spawn of Adam stole our place
They spread the evil but we got the blame.

When we fed on the juice of plants, not men
and lived as one in peace and brother hood
but Adams breed usurped our place and then
harassed we had to change to drinking blood.

We had to flee into the wilderness
adapt to hunting for our prey by night
We who had know nothing but gentleness,
my race resolved that we must fight.

Adapted and evolved now we must prey
on those who drove us from our rightful lands
and thus the vampire are seen to day
