Flowers

displaying
their beauty

Leaves cling
to the trees
creating shades
protecting from

Our Bond Of Love
Traveling
through
life's
wilderness.
Branches
and thorns
appear
along the
journey.
Leaves
cover
the
pathway.
Tangled in
after
thoughts
of you.

One Rainy Night
One night
the sky began
to darken
thunder crashed
lightening
flashed
the wind blew
violently
disturbing the
calm.
Within a heart
was being
twisted
tearing apart
too many clouds
too much rain
had fallen
a connection
was breaking up

We the shy children
We are shy children
Why wish us ill then
When we sing our songs for pleasure?
We are God’s children
Who pays the bill then
while we play amongst the heather?
Whilst we’re still children
Will He explain then
What it is that we should treasure?
If it’s not love then,
Or heav’n above, when
we receive the farewell sermon,
will we remain then
singing and playing
amongst the decaying heather?

Sometimes!
Sometimes!
I would love to
wake up
feel your warm
body
lying close to
mine,
listen to you
softly breathing.
Sometimes!
share a cup of
coffee
perhaps a biscuit
chat about the
days events.
Hold your hand

To Alfred Tennyson - 1883
Familiar with thy melody,
We go debating of its power,
As churls, who hear it hour by hour,
Contemn the skylark's minstrelsy -
As shepherds on a Highland lea
Think lightly of the heather flower
Which makes the moorland's purple dower,
As far away as eye can see.
Let churl or shepherd change his sky,
And labour in the city dark,
Where there is neither air nor room -
How often will the exile sigh
To hear again the unwearied lark,
And see the heather's lavish bloom!

Dear H.
In better 'human' weather,
Whether my eyes greet your grace or not,
I'll place you upon your favorite patch of heather,
If you dear Heather weave me through a fragrant mile of forget me nots.
We'll exchange prose, poems, and
When we part again, out of love or sin, we'll begin are apologetic letters.
At least our beast doesn't burden its feathers to fly when the blue canopy is calm,
Still, will our Wills will ever be sustained in fairness, in unfair weather.

Me Peacock
WHAT'S riches to him
That has made a great peacock
With the pride of his eye?
The wind-beaten, stone-grey,
And desolate Three Rock
Would nourish his whim.
Live he or die
Amid wet rocks and heather,
His ghost will be gay
Adding feather to feather
For the pride of his eye.
WHAT'S riches to him
That has made a great peacock
With the pride of his eye?
The wind-beaten, stone-grey,
And desolate Three Rock
Would nourish his whim.
Live he or die
Amid wet rocks and heather,
His ghost will be gay

Somewhere In Fantasyland
Yesterday, we strolled
together in fantasyland.
I was taken back to
another time of our youth.
A handsome young boy, a
sweet naive girl, holding
hands, loong at each other
with stars in their eyes.
Anticipating tomorrow.
The grassy meadows were
lush and green. Valleys
ablaze of color. Baby
buds yawned, waking up
from their long winters
nap. Began to open their
eyes, as the warmth of
the season penetrated
