Quotes about fist, page 5
Fistful
Gulping the morning ozone, mind is rejuvenating
Feeling much juvenile, I start to explore
With my right hand lengthily extending
I’m soaring, my intellect surging over
To carry the whole earth in my fist
Brain and heart conspire to venture
Beyond this ocean, there, horizon untouched yet
Aspiring to touch it, zooms on
My longer hand more extended upon
Touches the horizon; travels round the earth
Ends at my feet with fistful earth
More excited travelling in all directions
Longer hand tries much to its expectations
To carry the planet in its fist
Only in vain unaware of its folly yet
Fatigued extremely the hand resumes its size
My brain and heart blaming each other
Think upon their failure to realise
The virtuoso’s knowledge is only fistful

Be The C.E.O. Of It
Handle your own business.
With an expertise,
You keep.
And be the C.E.O. of it.
You are the Chief Executive Officer.
Commander of your ship.
Know this.
And conduct yourself with a firm grasp held,
Within an unrelenting fist.
Get over mistakes made.
Moaning over them for you leaves no benefit.
You alone can make it known,
Persistence is in your grip.
And with it,
There is no quitting.
Handle your own business.
With an expertise,
You keep.

Double Negative
Is a double negative always positive
I posit....N O...no
If we took all the negative things in the world
put them in a big pile
divided them
counted each side
would the result be even or odd
I don't know the answer to this but I assume(and you know what that makes us both) ....oh the hell with cliches
I assume that the answer would not be the answer for long
the way of the world is negatives are created
faster than positives even on slow days

Seize the Autumn Mist
Amidst a horizon of sporadic seasons, stood
A wayward gambler of sangfroid optimism
Wreaking of departure in the eyes of an interlude
Cascading with a wintry streak of a prism
A rapine of the grandiosity banishing all subdued
Words that vessels emotions in taut surrealism
The aftermath of golden deluge and sullen drought
Fore the wintry rape and frosted cellars bolt
A beautiful shedding, the mist of copper hair brought
Comported in a poise deeming the sun a harlot
For corrupting the radiance it spun and wrought
Undeserving of abduction; a beautiful fault
Hoping for amends but the more it is changing
The more the season of withering remains mundane
With aloofness of untainted bliss, tethering
A tatterdemalion vagabond in a flee too profane
Erred and flawed hands can't carry the bosom of the writhing
Season of falling a gambler can never abstain

Alf’s Eighth Bit
Vex not thou the banker's mind
(His what?) with a show of sense,
Vex it not, Willie, his mind,
Or pierce its pretence
On the supposition that it ever
Was other, or that this cheerful giver
Will give, save to the blind.
Come not anear the dark-browed sophist
Who on the so well-paid ground
Will cheerfully tell you a fist is no fist,
Come not here
With 2 and 2 making 4 in reason,
Knowest thou not the truth is never in season
In these quarters or Fleet St.?
In his eye there is death, I mean the banker's,
In his purse there is deceit,
It is he who buys gold-braid for the swankers
And gives you Australian iced rabbits' meat

Drown
Water deep
Surface breathe
Face to face
Fist to fist
Feet to feet
Stroke by stroke
Pain above
Peace below
War above
Joy beneath
Flipping through the pages of seconds
Age takes its stand
Flipping through the photographs of memories
Regret gives its hand
You ask when time waltzed by
10 odd years ago, you had your chance
A chance to be better than now
A voice once said 'Give me your hand'
Swimming on you replied 'Heaven helps those who help themselves'
A great fallacy

Satan’s Scheming
Many hearts that we seek to reach, will not accept what we teach,
But, will have an unrepentant heart, until that time, they do depart,
Shaking their fist at God in rage, seduced by the god of this age,
Cursing God, who dwells on high, as unwittingly they eternally die.
Their hearts are hardened by, the eternal enemy of both you and I,
That prince and power of the air, swaying all to spiritually not care,
While leading multitudes of men, down the path to be condemned,
Not just for a time, but, eternally, as God’s Judgment they will see.
It was pride, that made Satan fall, as Lucifer desired to be over all,
Even over God, who created him, as His most Beautiful Cherubim,
Fall he did, and much more, cast out of the presence of The Lord,
From Heaven to the earthly sod, as the formidable enemy of God.
Upon this earth filled with wrath, Satan wants to darken every path,
As he schemes to blind all eyes, and pull men into eternal demise,
And being the father of all lies, all Truth from God the devil denies,
Desiring to get men to the place, where they will deny God’s Grace.

The Unseen Butterfly
Folding the last edge of the paper
he pointed the folds
into the palm of his hand,
closing it in a clockwork swirl
he forms a fist.
Turning to the children,
He spoke…
‘What do you see? ’
‘A hand…
…a fist’, said the other.
Without acknowledgement
He asked, ‘Do you see the butterfly? ’
As if to turn,
and search the skies
The children shook their heads.
Slowly, gently
Unfolding his fingers like petals
He tenderly placed his finger
On the square of paper…
‘Do You see the Butterfly? ’

Lieing Through Their Teeth
Giving up a smile or two,
Does not end a feud...
One begins.
Nor is a joker without a seriousness,
Worth a fist to lift.
Giving up a smile or two,
May work best for children...
Teasing each other after school.
But to think it's okay to lie just to do,
Seems so foolish to hear those who do it.
Some people can't seem to live a life,
Without a lieing through their teeth.
Some people.
Some people.
Some people do what they do,
To disturb another's peace.
Some people.
Some people.

You Started This Fire
I lay with you and it's,
Under-cover.
With a ring-aling that dings.
And penetrates to get to things.
Aaahhh, aaahhh, aaahhh.
I lay with you and it's,
Under-cover.
With a ring-aling that dings.
And penetrates to get to things.
And penetrates to get to things.
Repeat.
And penetrates to get to things.
Repeat.
And penetrates to get to things.
Aaahhh, aaahhh, aaahhh.
Now who started this fire?
