Quotes about ecstatic, page 5
Explorations: XVII
ecstatic heart
at its secret dance
new rhythm to life!
rhythmic notes
floated from afar
heart shook a leg
in the mid-winter
life's garden full of buds
petals in the air!

New religion
Cults of ancestral deities.
Agrapha act of creatures.
Transcendence, Wise Lord.
Self-satisfying People of the book
Metaphysical improvable.
Ecstatic form of new religion.
Humanely made.

Open Vessel
Songbirds bring relief to my longing
I am just as ecstatic as they are, but
have nothing to sing
Please, goddess of song,
practice a song through me
I am thy open vessel…

Cromer's Peanuts
Screeching, ecstatic monkeys
Gaze upon the gathered bipeds
Which are endlessly fascinated by their own distorted reflections
Alongside the swirling strands of pink & blue

For each ecstatic instant
For each ecstatic instant
We must an anguish pay
In keen and quivering ratio
To the ectasty.
For each beloved hour
Sharp pittances of years,
Bitter contested farthings
And coffers heaped with tears.

Think and feel yourself there! To achieve any aim in life, you need to project the end-result. Think of the elation, the satisfaction, the joy! Carrying the ecstatic feeling will bring the desired goal into view.

People can inhabit anything. And they can be miserable in anything and ecstatic in anything. More and more I think that architecture has nothing to do with it. Of course, that's both liberating and alarming.

In answer to your e-mail...
If she wants
that extra two inches,
that six more hours of ecstatic sleep-deprivation,
that concrete-and-steel erection to win architecture awards,
then send your e-mails to her,
she can pay for the bloody things.
I'm not proud.

I have never described the time I was in Doctor Who as anything except a kind of ecstatic success, but all the rest has been rather a muddle and a disappointment. Compared to Doctor Who, it has been an outrageous failure really - it's so boring.

The Tryst Of Light And The Cliff
when the sun is
up the hills
and light is strong
and hot
the tryst with
the cliff begins
surging light
piercing through
a slit in the cliff
vibrating the
tiny bodies of the
sands of
desire
the moment
is enduring
but not that
ecstatic
like us.
