Quotes about wove, page 4

A female spider’s cobweb and a scrawny poor man

The featherweight skeleton entangled in a cobweb.
It’s not an ordinary one and very strong.
He is unable to survive.
“Unnecessarily you trapped in my net.
Frankly this is for insects I wove.
Never mind my dear I prefer coexistence and I have no any objections of your stay.” Spider replied smoothly.

The effect of the virtue

A man of virtue practises virtue
Against the myriads of odds, so true,
And wove around him a crust of virtue
But his core remained as same underneath.
His libido is much in compression,
Capable of giving more explosions.
A man of virtue is a potential danger
From whom might spurt evils at any scale.

Blue and White

BLUE is Our Lady’s colour,
White is Our Lord’s.
To-morrow I will wear a knot
Of blue and white cords,
That you may see it, where you ride
Among the flashing swords.

O banner, white and sunny blue,
With prayer I wove thee!
For love the white, for faith the heavenly hue,
And both for him, so tender-true,
Him that doth love me!

Sweet Memories

Ah, sweet memories from long ago
wove in a mysterious way
into the present time we live.
They surface everyday.

They were dormant for so many years
lying in repose,
never knowing the force they held
like the thorn beside a rose.

It pricks the skin that presently bleeds
and imbeds itself in your heart.
The memories awaken and come alive
and then they play their part.

E.B. White

You have been my friend. That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway We're born, we live a little while, we die. A spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all this trapping and eating flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that.

Songs Of A Plough!

The sounds of the rain delighted!
The fragrance of the soil flowered!

In the nerves of the plough
Leaning in coma at the corner
Of the worn out thatched hut
A thrill sent cheerful shivers!

Cutting deep furrows in the soil
It dreamed of its own songs
To the raining tunes!

It mounted on the necks
Of bullocks at early dawn
And on the strings of the earth
Wove new cheerful melodies!

Herd, heard!

Herd, heard!
Move, drove, dove, cove, clove, glove, trove;
Armies, spies, flies, families, willies, homilies, butterflies! !
But, this garden is down under there;
So, you need the steps.

Grove, love, rove, hove, above, wove, strove, stove;
Training,
Raining,
Fitness lady,
Fitness man,
Cheer leaders! !

Herd, heard!
Mr. Undercover,
Affection,
Affliction,
But, time for action! !
All in the name of war.

Meteorite Storm

The meteorites soared ahead,
Leaving behind a trail of electric blue,
As the spider wove its silvery web.

The leaves rustled in the breeze,
The eye stared down at me,
As the stars shone with all their glory.

Nocturnals creatures,
Out they came,
Awoken form their slumber to hunt.

The clouds crept across the sky,
The dew glistened on the grass,
As the meteorites soared ahead.

Oluwaseun

Love, dove, drove, rove, wove, move, strove, stove;
And like Australians and crocodiles! !
Nut, oluwaseun is my name;
So, sow for yourselves righteousness and reap in mercy!
For, the bullets of war are not helping us.

Shove, shrove, grove, cove, hove, trove, prove;
Seeing what is going on in Syria and thinking about the human race;
But, Oluwaseun is my name;
So, sow for yourselves righteousness and reap in joy!
For, the bombs are now killing us all.

Emily Dickinson

I had not minded—Walls

398

I had not minded—Walls—
Were Universe—one Rock—
And fr I heard his silver Call
The other side the Block—

I'd tunnel—till my Groove
Pushed sudden thro' to his—
Then my face take her Recompense—
The looking in his Eyes—

But 'tis a single Hair—
A filament—a law—
A Cobweb—wove in Adamant—
A Battlement—of Straw—

A limit like the Veil
Unto the Lady's face—
But every Mesh—a Citadel—
