Quotes about orchid, page 4
The Wilted Orchid
Silent screams and sobs
in depression’s tomb,
the lonely bud rooms.
Sweating and pushing
‘till it opens,
slipping inside enclave,
recovering
the long lost jewel,
hands and fingers commence
crawling up and
down each back,
tongue slipping in and out
of mouth,
coupling and gathering and
surrendering,
warm cream slowly flows,
reviving the wilted orchid.

Dreaming In The Southern Polar Cap Of Your Thin Arms
You jump with joined feets
You draw a smiley face
You chew sugar free gum
A constant flow of air
Your hair damp and wet
Your opus 27,4
Your cotton pillow cover
You turn the door knob
A vanilla orchid
An orange snowfall in the county
A heart beats only across your chest
You come from the cedar moutain
Your raised eyebrows
As close as possible
Your baptismal font
A holy water

Nitroglycerin
Did anybody ever tell you
The apple in your eye is rotten
Encased with the loose ends
And under us with the downtrodden
Remember the sunsets
Drain out the bleeding skies
Hurry now to see their demise
Soles of feet become Nitroglycerin
This orchid only blooms
Once in so many moons
It's a funeral gazed congregation
For the shallow hurt you are
Tied up in a rat king
Bury me bury me
Leave none at all to see to see
Your conspiracy becomes Nitroglycerin.

Here I Stand
dancing in the rain
feeling the cold drops on my face
washing all the pain and hurt and sadness away
filling me with a new strength and a new peace
a sense of calm and tranquility among the thunder
washing away the tears of sadness
big drops of rain
falling onto my upturned face
the beauty and strength of the storm
rush through my bones
making me believe
in fate
in love
in myself
making me believe
that one day
the sun will come out
and this will be
nothing
but a

Mariposa
White orchid
Tenaciously clinging to
A strong bark
Her nights are lonely
Her days boring
She is suffocating
To too much
A high place
Where she hangs
Herself
She is waiting
For courage
To take her
Away
Take her down
Down to an earthly
Ground away from everything

memories of Sol
sol, sun, light, brightness, warmth,
parasol, black canopy, above my head
your hands hold
my protection your fingers at the pole's end
sol, cheers, and laughter
and thoughts and greetings of the past
to the uncertainties of the future
sol, sun, light, and then orange and red
and gray and lights out.
it was another declaration
of death, little things you remember
but soon you forget
because the morning with a new sun
as another white orchid blooms by the window
is so beautiful to the pleasure of the eyes.

Become divine
Each tree a Poetry
In its infinite variety
Each leaf a status
In its food-making process
Each flower a wonder
In its colour, fragrance and splendour
Each fruit a history
In its sweet-storing mystery
Each grass is precious
As in soil-holding it is cautious
Each cactus a marvel
In its tact in survival
Each orchid a sample
As its blossom ever an example
Each garden a universe
As it holds all these, in diverse

Dent de Lion Sonnet
Dandelion in French means Lion's teeth,
Enchants among the buttercups and grass.
New sprouts shout daily 'whate'er come to pass,
Triumphant see us garland, golden wreath
Destiny will show we grow beneath
Each blade, and never fade, for lad and lass
Learn dreams earned from seeds blown, desires surpass
Imagination as on lawn and heath
Outside we're pride, abide, true joy bequeath,
Never fail to flourish, but, alas
SONgs few are sung to us while orchid, rose,
NET praise in verse and prose which, dandy, flows.'

2010/02/18 Beautiful Pink Kimono
Beneath my jet-black pullover
I wear a pink kimono beautifully
revealed as I drift daintily down
street – the watery way I mean
An exotic butterfly, a lady taking
small Japanese steps while my
favourite soprano sings Les Oiseaux
Dans La Charmille in my ears
Head demurely bent sans sunglasses
they’d have spoiled the effect, my eyes
on a sheer pink orchid petal kimono
rustling enticingly
A sun-screen between me and real
world traffic, I see only pink and feel
myself floating in a Japanese scene
of unequalled beauty…

White Orchid
There is a flower that resembles
A flitting moth in fleeting flight
So fair its name has launched an island
To natives' ever new delight
It is a flower that compares with
White doves in panoramic sight
It's purer than fresh snow in winter
Fair inspirations to ignite
There is a flower kings and nobles
Into their palaces invite
To beautify their lavish ballrooms
From breaking dawn to deepest night
As lovely as is the white orchid
I'll never own this bloom outright
Yet as I dream in my small chamber
Faith blooms in ever spreading light.
