Quotes about embarrass, page 4

Christopher Morley

Tit for Tat

I OFTEN pass a gracious tree
Whose name I can't identify,
But still I bow, in courtesy
It waves a bough, in kind reply.

I do not know your name, O tree
(Are you a hemlock or a pine?)
But why should that embarrass me?
Quite probably you don't know mine.

The daughter in law counts.

Be congenial to her
Who is your daughter in law.
She is the better half of your son.
And the mother of your grand children.
If you love kids and ignore their mother
It means you embarrass the children.
No amount love will compensate it.

The father and mother

My father objected to my marrying
A girl I had been in love with.
Yes, she has been born to him,
My father secretly confided.
Shocked, I approached my mother,
Who granted my wish.
Yes, I was not born to him,
She revealed the secret
I abandoned the idea
Not to embarrass either.

The Finding of Dirt

Get over the notion,
That the finding of dirt...
On someone,
Will embarrass them.

Some create their own dirt,
Just to bring attention...
To something they've done,
That will stun and captivate...
Imaginations the world over.

One never knows,
What is in the mind of a genius.
And that dirt that has been found,
Had been planted for discovery.

Don’t test the God

Don’t expect God to redeem what you’ve lost.
He has to redeem what you’ve got.
Don’t expect God to help you get what you crave.
He has to help others get what you’ve got.
Don’t pray for a win in a battle.
The rival will also pray to Him like that.
Don’t test Him. Don’t embarrass Him.
Ask Him to cleanse you, no more or no less.

With A 'Reading' Made To Fit

There are those filled to the brim,
With belief...
All they have to do is charade pretense,
And their masking faces will be accepted.

And there are the ones,
Quick to strip false butts to leave naked.
With a 'reading' made to fit!
And caring less of their pretentiousness.

'Are you ready to split?
My face has begun to crack.
And my extensive makeup,
Is beginning to embarrass and to drip.'

Love For Spouse, Child and Parents

The more you love one the more you will sway.
The more you sway the more you will cordon.
Your spouse loves her liberty more than your love.

The more you care one the more you dictate.
The more you dictate the more you confine.
Your children prefer freedom to your care.

The more you trust one the more you demand.
The more you demand the more you embarrass.
Your parents enjoy relaxation as well

P.s I Love U

I hate the way you make me smile, when I am sad
I hate it when say, 'stop trying, you'll hurt yourself'
I hate the way you embarrass me
I hate it when you tell me, 'Leave it'
I hate the way you play with your hair
I hate it when you ….leave me
I hate you because you left me
I hate you because you never said bye
Most of all I hate you because you said you love me.

P.S I LOVE U TOO Biatch

Love Loosed

To draw your soft warm body
close to mine.
To melt into you,
with everything I feel for you
stirring deep inside me,
surging, struggling,
to escape
its cramped and male reserve,
as it sometimes will,
in some strong embrace
with untamed cry
of reckless joy
that might otherwise
embarrass or offend me.
But, I have this need
to tell you how much love
is in me.
And you do, I think,
understand.
And that pleases me.

Seen To Be Subdued

For what other reasons,
Would one be singled out to penalize...
For actions that have been legalized,
By those now feeling justified...
To apply their self righteousness?

Is it an arrogance they wish seen,
To be subdued?

Or is it they seek to embarrass themselves,
With a doing that is pursued.
But in the doing of this,
And with a consciousness...
They don't perceive themselves as fools.

'Are they absolutely crazy.'

Sssshhhh,
They are still debating it.
