Quotes about disputed, page 3

That Which Is Good

That which is good,
And provides a wholesomemess...
As it should once it is understood,
Will always be disputed...
By those who can not directly profit,
With a pocketing...
From the many who begin to acknowledge this.
And no longer are addicted,
To that which teases to be better than it is!

Almost Perfect

Eight Thousand and twenty games it took
before Howie could put it in the books.
There was, here and there,
a base on balls.
One desperate catch against the wall.
One possibly disputed call,
but Johan Santana got them all..

Bob Murphy would have loved this night
The Park in Queens alive with cheers.
Fans walking out in a gentle rain
with his happy recap in their ears.

A Flower To Auroville Mother-15

Thazhampoo (Ketaki, Screwpine, Pandanus odorifer)

Your speculated fall was not a fall
But a legacy with lassies' plaited elegance
Albeit punished by Shiva huge and all
For a disputed lie on Brahmma's impatience

Perhaps gravitating props made you root strong
For our usage your nature fragrant aplenty
Darling flower, while 'thorny-dusty' is no wrong
Aromatic ultra figure yours is an ivory warenty

Tortured

I am born among humans and,
I have the view to breath again on your love;
And like the adventures of my lifetime.

Disputed bridges and the choice of a woman,
With something more meaningful in my lifetime;
But she tortured my heart by leaving me.

We all live in glass houses on this earth,
But should we throw stones against each other? !
And like the things we do for love and to end it at times,
For i am now under the shadow of darkness!

Mercy And Innocence

When Mercy, first from Heaven deputed,
(The fact has never been disputed),
Arrived on earth, there with her came
A certain bashful, blue-eyed dame,
Whom Innocence we mortals name;
These two are sisters, and their love
Made them inseparable above;
And Jove, when he sent Mercy hither,
Let gentle Innocence come with her.
Unlike the peevish brood of earth,
They never quarrelled from their birth,
And still together do they dwell,
In the warm heart of Isabel.

Ambrose Bierce

An Interpretation

Now Lonergan appears upon the boards,
And Truth and Error sheathe their lingual swords.
No more in wordy warfare to engage,
The commentators bow before the stage,
And bookworms, militant for ages past,
Confess their equal foolishness at last,
Reread their Shakspeare in the newer light
And swear the meaning's obvious to sight.
For centuries the question has been hot:
Was Hamlet crazy, or was Hamlet not?
Now, Lonergan's illuminating art
Reveals the truth of the disputed 'part,'
And shows to all the critics of the earth
That Hamlet was an idiot from birth!

Jerusalem

The holy land of children of Israel
Has been staining with the blood
Of innocent people for such along time!

The Jews, the Christians and the Muslims
Should live in peace and harmony
Side by side on the much disputed land
Since it’s holy to all of them.

The mosque of the prophets
Should be extended
With a view to make space
For all the three adherents of faith.

I know it’s a small piece of land
But we can solve the problem
By building skyscrapers.

O Jerusalem can’t you see
Your children are fighting against each other?

Deceit They Perceive Is Hidden

I have never believed,
I was always right.
Or believed my opinions expressed,
Were the best.

No! An operating done on fumes of ego,
Is such a waste of reality.
And seeking excuses to make for my actions,
Is too exhausting for my peace of mind.

And there are more offended,
By the appearance of truth.
Than they are disrespecting someone,
With a deceit they perceive is hidden from others.

And the concealing of truth is difficult to do,
For anyone keeping it with them to introduce.
Since a truth introduced is not to be disputed.
It is what it is to defeat deceit each and every time.

Journey Discovered

He sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” was persecuted
he sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” quietly disputed
he sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” was beat and spit on
He still did not budge, (Jesus)
he sat back watched and laughed
As the “Son of God” was nailed, torn, and stripped of His clothes
to end with a body full of holes
if only he knew
that it wasn’t through
the “Son of God” came to do what God had Him to do
save me and you
from the end
He bared our sins
sitting on His throne
Satan lost his grin
his world will soon come to an end

History?

Has history taught us nothing
but tales and ancient lies?
All wrapped up in stories
not told us by the wise?
Told by the vicars who consecrated death
Told by the rulers
with power in their breath.
Passed on in written words
in books the masses read,
never questioned, never disputed
in the minds they lead.

Slanted stories still present
right to our present day.
Foes of peace seen as heroes
in ungodly ways
and as we live the history writers
will pen each blazing act
as benificent for these difficult times,
more fiction than true fact.
