Quotes about Freedom, page 3
Seek freedom
What does the sun of man want
What does mankind want
Under the sun
Is it to eat all the food
In the world and have fun
So that nobody gets nothing to feed
Or destroy the righteous and his seed
May be gather more riches
And be superior
So that others become
Poor and inferior
Or gather all the women
In the world by your side
Is this the ultimate pride
What fore does mankind want
Apart from being free and happy
You need freedom to live your destiny
So do i need freedom
Everybody needs freedom
The rich man needs freedom

Freedom, Don't Give It All Away
The media bombards, the shelter of our homes,
the crisis deepens, the worst we've ever known,
the bankers screw us over, they really have no shame,
they've done it once, now they're doing it again.
And we all know, the politicians are on the take,
but why is religion the cause, of so much hate?
a corrupt president, again fills his boots,
more children will die, as he robs and he loots.
Freedom, don't give it all away,
freedom, freedom, come what may,
freedom, a basic human right,
freedom, we can't give up tonight.
If you don't defend democracy, it won't defend you,
if you tolerate injustice, then you could be next,
no room to be complacent, they will exploit that too,
the power hungry, and fanatical religious sects.

The Bell Of Freedom
Philadelphia's the home of freedom.
Liberty stands at the sound of a bell.
Freedom for the world. That's my religion.
Freedom in the states. That's the way it should be.
Ring-a-ling-a-ling.Here the bell of freedom.
Ring-a-ling-a-ling.Let's also ring this bell for the world.
There's a statue of a lady.In New York City.
Her torch burning bright, for the world to see.
Her meaning's just the same. She looks so pretty.
But nothing like the bell that rings so free.
Philadelphia's the home of freedom.
Liberty stands at the sound of a bell.
Freedom for the world. That's my religion.
Freedom in the states. That's the way it should be.
Ring-a-ling-a-ling.Hear the bell of freedom.
Ring-a-ling-a-ling.Let's also ring this bell for the world.

Will Freedom Be Free?
Freedom is a an African youth
Enrolled in the school
Of hard knocks.
He doesn’t know about the university
But knows the rules of the universe.
All he knows about democracy
What Clara has said to him.
And again he has seen the people vote
And has observed Presidents take oath.
Freedom was all hopeful one day
When Clara told
Him to hold
On, because most of the African Leaders
Have studied the universe
In the best universities.
Yes we can hold on as the world
Becomes a better place

Freedom Lies
Freedom, theres more to your life so now[? ]
Old laws, man has made only blind.
Oh, give us freedom, a call to the brave and the strong,
To stand in the face of all wrong and show the way.
Freedom lies, freedom lies, freedom lies.
Freedom to live out the dream in a song,
Give hope to the hearts of the young.
Oh, give us freedom to act out of love and not fear,
So all that is true will be clear.
Hear tomorrow, calling hold me, show me.
Freedom lies, freedom lies, freedom lies.
Freedom lies, freedom lies, freedom lies.

Dont Cry Freedom
How long before we see we have broken those chains,
.(? )...just like the bird that sings it in the dream baby we are born free,
Oh now, I want you to know now we are in charge of our own destiny,
Freedom is only but a state of mind, youve got to leave them shackles behind.
Dont you cry freedom, exercise your freedom,
Dont cry freedom, exercise your freedom,
Dont cry freedom, its a state of mind,
Oh..ooooh..cry..dont cry, dont cry...well well, well.
Freedom is only but a state of mind, youve got to leave them shackles behind.
Yeah, yeah,
Some of us get to dance on a dream,
Every day we pray to that which we cannot see,
Why is it so, so difficult to love that which we see?
Love for you and me.
Tell me now, do you like what you see?
Are those images forced upon us, reflections of you and me,
Dont you let them play upon your mind, youve got to leave them shackles behind.
.(? ).i want you to know that, we are each other our own destiny,
Just like the bird that sings within the dreams, baby you are born free,
Oh yeah, every night oh now,

Dear Lillian:
Number 41 passed on the CDs from Tom Zart. Thank you for thinking of me. I am thankful for your efforts to honor our brave military personnel and their families. America owes these courageous men and women a debt of gratitude, and I am honored to be the commander in chief of the greatest force for freedom in the history of the world.
Best Wishes.
Sincerely,

sad indeed,
there are other freedoms
still
freedom from having no ideas, from this dryness,
freedom from having you
as a poet on forced wit and half-cooked cleverness
freedom from a reader
who has nothing to offer
except his own loneliness
his having nothing to do
freedom from beng bored
to death
freedom from having nothing
to say and comment
freedom from this feeling of emptiness
this bigotry
this indigestion of dumb thoughts
freedom

And What About Freedom?
sad indeed,
there are other freedoms still
freedom from having no ideas, from this dryness,
freedom from having you
as a poet on forced wit and half-cooked cleverness
freedom from a reader
who has nothing to offer
except his own loneliness
his having nothing to do
freedom from long bored
to death
freedom from having nothing
to say and comment
freedom from this feeling of emptiness
this bigotry
this indigestion of dumb thoughts
freedom from impertinence, immateriality, irrelevance,
freedom from thinking about freedom
freedom from freedom itself
