I look forward to a future where the Adhan will be
called from the empire state building and the armed
guys in pentagon will disarm and walk intelligently
to prayer never killing women and children

So if Israel would kill civilians in palestine, don't rejoice
brother peter, cos they can kill your children too
when their interest is at stake

i look forward to a future where Allah will relive us of the
trial of Israel

I look forward to a future where even if there`s war, fought
by people who hold responsibility for their ideologies, women
and children bereaved of ideologies will be spared

i look forward to a future where wars will no more be fought
and differences will be settled by mere show of strength

The sad story of happiness

Statistics tell. You can be
independent of them, but
you cannot deny them.

Though white Americans are freed
from many of the hassles and indignities
that affect black Americans, yet,
on average, they are only
very slightly happier.

Men have more power and freedom
than women, yet, on average,
they are not any happier.
(Women experience more depression,
but also more intense joy..)

Though the young have so much more
to look forward to, than the elderly,
yet ratings of life satisfaction rise slightly
up to age sixty-five, and for some, beyond..

The Trio

we were the three...Bedirhan..Nazlican and me
three mouthes, three hearts, three sworn bullets
our names were written on the mountains
and on the rocks as trouble
a hard duty hanging from our necks
crossed guns on our bosoms
hands on trigger, ear on the bow string,
backs summitted to the soil
we embraced each other under the stars as blankets
the sea was far, far away
and loneliness made us sick
all nights, the jackal howlings along the cliffs
struck our faces, our breads and our songs and wavered away
nazlican rubbed our chests with thyme
the air smelled heavily with rhyme
we gazed at her secretly
in case our hearts would be broken easily
mAy be we have lost her in the sound of a pipe of a shepard
she joined to the fire flies
glittering and exhausting with them

Hate That Dare Not Speak Its Name

The hate that dare not speak its name,
the hate that Muslims feel for Jews,
has now become the very same
that Nazis demonstrated––views
that Christian nations held for ages.
to trash the people that God chose
according to the Bible's pages.
Too many nation states oppose
the peaceful coexistence prophets
promised would occur when swords
would no more generate large profits,
but turned into plowshares. Their words
sometimes disguise their targets whom
they don't call Jews, but they describe
as Zionists, preparing doom
for members of the Jewish tribe.

Haman's sons all live, brought back
to life no longer hung on gallows,
and now are ready to attack
