He Does It In the Giving

When one is given to serious thought...
That seriousness,
Should be on one's 'mental list'.

I choose to begin with God.
Followed by family,
And my love of friends.
Then myself.
With a desire to keep my wishes,
Prioriticized.

My thought process is always orderly.
Sometimes God pushes me,
To have me think of myself first.
I use to think that was selfish.

And God laughs at me!
Knowing no one could ever be more 'selfish',
Than He!
And He does it in the giving!

When a shallowness begins to darken,
A preferred stubbornness kept in one's life...
Do not show you can be just as stubborn,
With a proof one can live a life filled with Sunlight.

You will be convinced,
From shadows sheltered you can feed.
And a misery that is shared,
Is a part of your destiny!

Be...selfish.
Get away from this misinformation.

Be selfish!
Head in the direction of your complete happiness.
Make this your destination.

Let others sit and be satisfied,

Those who hated,
Now find themselves to be naked.
And..
Without escapes,
To re-address a fate that awaits.

Isolated and outraged,
By their own selfish ways...
And now naked.
Those who hated can't fake it.
Or look for those escapes...
That chased away,
The others from the gates.

Earth raised up her head
From the darkness dread and drear,

Breathing freely,
And adopting this as my number one...
Priority,

At first...
I brought along with it some guilt.
I was taught from birth,
Doing for others...
Provided me a sense of self worth.
And a doing for myself first,
Was a selfish activity.

And I thought about this,

I needed to know what’s on your mind
Willing to wager your eager to sign
The pressure is mounting
The numbers are grand
Sensing reluctance
To stick to the plan
Eager to see if the armor is steel
If your true to the code
If your gangster is real
Your anxious and nervous
Ready to turn
Reaching for lifelines

The Source Of All Grief

When folks are selfish to the core, the world is not enough,
The hunger grows for more, more, more without God's joy or love...
And at home, or school or college, or work, or rest or play,
If without God's love and knowledge, the soul will soon decay...
Then each sin will bear its harvest, its poison in our lives,
So souls get cursed instead of blessed and from then on each strives!
A war in Heaven and in Hell is fought for souls on Earth,
Until we bid this world farewell, our souls are all we're worth!

That's why God speaks to rich and poor, dismissing not a one,
Forgiveness offered for each flaw through Jesus Christ, His Son...
The Saviour taught us how to pray, the Father's face to seek,
That's why God's children night and day preserve this link unique...
The selfish soul is purged within, washed clean by Blood divine,
Such that it flees from every sin for which it used to pine...
Reborn with love from Heaven's Throne, God's Spirit then comes near!
To prove to us we're not alone, to make things crystal clear...

Eternity is thus revealed in Scriptures old and new,
The world is like a harvest field for Christian and for Jew...
