The Author Of My Life
My God has penned the pages that told of my first breath
and has carefully written the paragraph depicting my death.
Then by grace the myriads of paragraphs between
are the pages which record my life on this earthly scene
For the God and author of all human history
has chosen to weave my name into its' tapestry.
Carefully mapping out my life well before my birth
and then He chose to walk with me each day on earth.

How Time Betrayed Me
the young dad fetches her daughter in school uniform
early morning
using his bike and they pass by the house as i sit by my window
and i realized how time passed
how time has betrayed me and how by all complacency did not complain
i do not notice how time flowed like a bullet train just in front of me
but i have no regrets
i am too preoccupied about mapping my way out without causing any
trouble
not a ripple to the pond when the water grasshopper lands.

Imagine
Imagine information in the palm of your hand.
Imagine the knowledge of a library at your command.
Imagine all books written just a touch away.
Imagine all media at your finger tip each day.
Imagine a device that causes a mental revolution.
Imagine how it calculates with instant execution.
Imagine a discovery rivaling all human means.
Imagine its place in the mapping of genes.
Imagine where this miracle will take mankind.
Imagine unimaginables there still are to find.
Imagine love ruling the world some day.
Imagine how mankind could then find its lost way.

To Our Destination
They wear a direction for their utmost pleasure,
The direction is either north or south,
Not west or east, like the compass shows,
The directions are clearly seen with balanced vision.
They must reach their destination with safety,
Licking its food, fulfilling the commands
And realising less danger, for danger is clearly erected.
The north is where food is, the south is an opposite direction,
We wear a proper bracelet, golden and silver and diamond,
These are the jewels of the adventurer,
One to take on the rivers and mountains is the ruby.
So pleasurable is the journey we have designed,
Mapping the way home with zeal.

Getting To Know You More
it may start with a name
how to pronounce it
where the accent lies
then i begin to look behind
figuring out which shadows
make a good story or at all
a bad tale
that may stop my own little world
from spinning
then we go dining
i take the bill
we sip wine and admire the

our newly found intimacies

words
we end up in bed
trying to figure out who and what
we really are

The air to freshen a bit of this
Twosome Discomfort
This hiding and pretending not to seek
What lies ahead
The two of us
You dream you are a butterfly

Into the world of your own dreams
