Quotes about loft, page 2
They were, I doubt not, happy enough in their dark stalls, because they were horses, and had plenty to eat; and I was at times quite happy enough in the dark loft, because I was a man, and could think and imagine.

But how odd that in this heathen nation of empty pews, where churches' bare, ruined choirs are converted into luxury loft living, a Labour government - yes, a Labour government - is deliberately creating a huge expansion of faith schools.

Hallowe'en
high-up in the organ-loft
Saint Anonymous
where pillars of darkness
hide his smooth white face
weeps
for the unarrivals
the pilgrims
just off the beaten-track
in the chromium-plated
neon
of the wayside diners
who almost hear his call
from the juke-box in the corner
and shadows on the wall

Midnight Grave
It was not enough to see your shadow
in the loft
of that worn out warehouse.
I needed more than the cemetery
beaming from your lips,
the iris, blooming from your eyes.
my hands on their second boil and
for a passerby, this is
a graveyard of fragrant flowers
You choked me at midnight,
in the light of song,
and shook my world to its
foundation.

Boxes Filled With Memories
Sort through any loft
and you will be surprised
at what you find.
Remnants of former lives
that might have lived there.
Boxes filled with memories
you stored up there
and then forgot about.
Some filled with memories,
fragments of your past.
As you go through them,
you smile and remember times
associated with the contents there.

In Unison
We want to praise YOU
Supreme Lord of the Universe
For such knowledge diverse
We daily learn from YOU.
It's a never-ending pleasure
Guiding our path throughout life
It keeps us away from strife
We rejoice over that treasure.
We heed the call and concentrate
On thoughts humble and loft
Insightful views are brought
We feel delighted and meditate.

Alias's And Other Things That Don't Have Wings
Such Lofty ideas...how they permeate
You want me at your every Beck and call
From FairPort to Walworth New York...
Tell you...That takes some gall;
Maybe you would have made a better neighbor
Rather than that next door Pine...
Just know you are as an upholstered chair
All Spanish in design;
What did you think i was stupid?
For up in that Loft i'd stay?
No longer at your Beck and call...
For i am headed out California way;

59 Seconds
The loft is open and vide
Trying to avoid a bite
Strawberries are smashed on a spoon
Looking out from a wound
Being myself on a dish
Hunting around like wish
Trying to be stupid and to ease the pain
Who denies cocaine?
The earth is getting close
A rush goes through my nose
This powder is soaking me up
A fingertip reaches for the top
The painting is all over my face
Hands who wants to embrace
Starters who came by
Just a trembling why
Do you undestand my circle?
A bloody smile will curdle

Sonnet: In Despair Again
O God, I’ve hypersensitive a heart;
They offend me so oft in various sorts;
Who cares to understand my every thought?
My sufferings can be loaded in carts.
I always tried to help others in life;
I did not care about myself for long;
I had my principles goods despite strife;
I ne’er intentionally do others wrong.
But yet, I feel they have all estranged me;
They have ignored me deliberately;
Side lined I am and neglected truly;
I am a broken branch of family.
’Tis sad I find myself in despair so oft;
If Maker wants, He can me always loft.

Mr. Yaw Boahene
Soft, loft, toey, toe, toggle, laganberry! !
And like the lifetime of a man's journey on this earth;
But, you will remember our days in Nima.
Those days in the classroom,
Those days with your muse,
Those days with your acts;
But today, you are a big man in your own office!
However, try to remember me.
I gave your help and i guided you on along the line,
So, you can now depend on my principles to achieve your dreams;
And like a king of the forest and the king of the sea! !
However, your name, 'Yaw Boahene' will always be in my mind.
