I cannot avoid you, keep you from my thoughts
whatever I think about; you are still clinging there
and in me you stay,
I am never free from you
and I see your eyes looking at me.

There are things that you cannot avoid

There are things that you cannot avoid
like the call-up instruction which cruelly
brings you to another world and measure you out
for whom you must become and be and stay
and you can never find escape
from violence, killing, guilt and grief.

There are things that a soldier cannot avoid
like war that cruelly let people suffer
with flames, bullets and bombs
and there are events that you cannot forget,
although you and you comrades freed the innocent
and at night it’s sweated out in dreams
and there are things that you cannot avoid.

Offer That As My Option

Why should I drain from exhaustion,
To maintain gains in a campaign?
Or be bombarded by others,
Complaining about their aches and pains...
To remain sustained in an unnamed game?

If I can avoid this,
Offer that as my option!

Why should I be grouped in a herd,
To leap collectively in a chase over hurdles.
Give me those tools as you promised you would do.
And I will do what needs to get done...
Without standing in line,
Waiting for someone's stamp or sign of approval!

I Wonder

I wonder

How many people suffer from what i suffer from

And everyone puts it down to them just being

An angry or abusive kind of a person?

So they get labelled

And misunderstood

And little sympathy goes their way

The smallest thing seems to spark them off and people steer clear

'They should learn to control themselves' these people say

So, they get angrier and angrier because they are more and more ignored when what they want is to escape the spiral they're caught in

Life...
Brings with it,
Mystery and miseries.
Some live entire lives,
In the state of denial and disbelief.
Confronting challenges,
With despair and grief.

Also is the wind.
Beginning gently...

Dine Alone

Its a cinch,
to, pass the time with you,
but hard to pass the time alone,
can you take it.
And its true,
true, the couple next to you think you look strange.
Alone, what are your aims,
or do you have any.
Avoid confusion.
You always know,
always know how much your paying.

Finding Oneself......... [EXTREMELY LONG; Growing Up; Relationships; Humor

Part One

When Bri was 13 and in grade 8,
he noticed classmates beginning to date.
At school (other) boys got their way with the girls with a kiss.
But Bri didn't have the urge; he thought 'what's this? '
He decided he should give it a try,
but each time he tried, the girl would cry.
Not only would she cry; she would run away and hide.
Bri felt between himself and the other boys a great divide.

Back home after school he'd seclude himself in his room and cry.
Through his mind was repeated the question 'why? ' 'Why DO they cry? Why? '

Bri was a straight A+ student with no flubs.
He played football but (except for 'Cooking') he joined not clubs.

After a few months Bri gave up (on girls) . He had NO close friends to set him right;
his parents should have known the problem, but they weren't bright.
