A Warm August Day In Old Duhallow

A warm August day in old Duhallow far north of here and miles away
And swallows high o'er sunlit meadows scenting sweetly of mown hay
And songbirds silent on the hedgerows in Summer you seldom hear them sing
they always pipe their finest in the prime months of the Spring.

A warm day in August in the fields of Knocknagree
And old gray faced rook is cawing on high branch of elm tree
And the magpie he is chattering as into the grove he fly
From once seen and heard he's one that's not hard to identify.

A warm day by Clara mountain by the old Town of Millstreet
And the skylark is not singing o'er the bracken in the heat
In the warm days of late Summer he doesn't feel the urge to fly
High above the sunlit mountain for to carol in the sky.

A warm day in August and the drains of water dry
And the old man says often in August I've seen water flowing bank high
And the long range weather forecast is the weather will be fine
And that at least another fortnight of warm days and sunshine.

809 Peridot Birthstone Of August

The Peridot (pronounced PEAR - A - DOE) is a very beautiful but lesser known gemstone. It was first discovered on Topazo Island in the Red Sea by the Egyptians who called it 'The Gem of the Sun'. Peridos are unique gemstones because they are always green. They are a form of Chrysolite - magnesium aluminium silicate - with an iron impurity which is responsible for its green colour. The depth of green is proportioanal to the percentage of iron.

Peridot so orthorhombic
Lime green - olive green - and sea green
Even greens you've never seen
Yes - over forty shades of green.
Colours of all life and nature
Themes politic - themes scholastic
Peridot gems for all we know
Orthorhombic so Peridot.

Peridots can rival emeralds
In their lustre and their value
Mined in enigmatic China
Blissful Burma - U S A.
Offers wearer full protection
With it fame and dignity
It also brings prosperity
Emeralds rival can Peridots.

Stuck In The August Rain

Brings jasmine tea on a painted tray
And bends to kiss my frown away.
But Im still still stuck in the august rain;
Stuck out in the cloudburst once again.
The covers on, the coast is clear.
Were all battened down, only us here.
But Im still still stuck in the august rain;
Stuck out in the cloudburst once again.
She walks between the lines
And she can read my signs.
Stuck out in the august rain:
Out in the cloudburst once again.
Single-minded in my gloom.
I appear to revel in this darkened room.
But Im still still stuck in the august rain;
Stuck out in the cloudburst once again.
She walks between the lines
And she can read my signs.
Stuck out in the august rain:
Out in the cloudburst once again.

Cold Wind In August

I waited for you
You waited for me
That it seemed like, seemed like a mighty long time
Baby I had to have you
Oh, I had to have you
Come rain, rain or shine
It was a cold wind in august
Shivers up and down my spine
I was standin in your garden
In the california pine
I was standing shivering
Ive got the fever in the rain
But I cant come on back to see you
Again and again and again
I said i, I had to have you
Baby I had to have you
Come rain, come rain or shine
It was a cold wind in august
Shivers up and down my spine
And I was standing in your garden

We Can Create A Modern International Community

And I wonder when Congress will allow public nationwide schools...
in the United States to set aside time for children again to pray?
To pray for, or quietly reflect on behalf of, their once great Nation!

To pray for their nation during this proclaimed danger time...
of struggle against the forces of evil dark international terrorism!
But in the White House lurks a dark soul of 100% fetus murder!

Barack against murder international terrorism with Pro-Abortion Record!
Like Pharaoh in the time of the birth of Moses, like King Harold at the birth of Jesus, killing innocent children based on state law is ok in America today!

Why? How can this be? On 9th of March 2008 Barack proclaimed “We were once were, we are no longer a Christian nation, at least not just....”
No Ten Commandments, No God’s law displayed in government buildings!

15th April 2009 Barack proclaimed “We can create a modern international community that is respectful that is secure that is prosperous....
(in an aside to himself) and like Baal Worshippers we will support propagate

State Policies funding killing innocent children against the will of the majority of Americans and I Barack will use tax payer dollars to kill innocent unborn! We will fill White House high office with Pro Abortion all! Yes We Can!

Darth Vader will create a universal New World Order!

Can't it be August again?

Can't it be August again?
When the trees swayed
With the last breath of summer upon them
The way I laughed
Without a care in the world
Summer tans beginning to linger away
And soon disappear

Can't it be August again?
When these emotions didn't exist
And all I felt was happiness
None of this depression
No, none of these feelings

Can't it be August again?
Where junior year was right around the corner
And i had a license in my hand
And car was only coming out of my mouth
Not your name

I Remember August

I remember August:
that breathy space before fall;
the long slow arc of the sun
touching the northern horizon.

I remember August:
its dampness confined to fog
pulled along the seashore's edge
and into the bays and rivers.

I remember
silent waves rocking small stones:
shifting, slipping, and sliding
sibilant sighs and whisperings.

I remember
the hay lying cut and straight,
drying in the summer sun
waiting for the baler to come.

[ Late August ]

Heat still sizzles in the fields
In August summer still yields
The sun shines to no regret
Wind sauntering 'til sunset

'though heat is being cool off by the rain
Preserving flowers, and meadow - green
But summer still taking what it brings
The August incense with fugacious wings

Bounty blooms, butterflies, bees are insane
Birds, crickets sing and the night listens
Summer's sky, bright burst so clear
It's the late August in summer's fair

Summer in August still in standby
Sooner balmy weather is coming by
The hot temper will bicker with cool air
With soothing breeze here comes September

Carnival Of Victory

The month of August, carnival for all the year,
When Anna forces the wild democracy move his way,
And showed the nation his power on a single day.
Krishna on Janamashtimi blessed his old son dear;
August 27,2011, lavish, mesmerizes far and near.
The thirteen day fast made all tyrants lay,
Like rotten meat in a garbage tray.
August, revolution, burnt all the liars.

The night guards its dear masses in fine,
Of kingdom’s: honest pearls rebuking rogues few,
Our white empress fled, in western towers safe line,
Back home, August, feasting and dancing on happy dew,
Ready to gulp the corrupts in a single drought,
Sunshine and clean air, delivered by Anna fine!
