Cruising For The Lost Moon(Terza Rima)

The Terza Rima is-
narrative and/or lyrical poetry.
usually in iambic pentameter or in tetrameter.
stanzaic, with any number of tercets that interlock by rhyme.
The poem is concluded by a single final line that rhymes
with the 2nd line of the preceding tercet.
rhymed in an interlocking rhyme scheme aba bcb cdc ded...
until the conclusion when the end line rhymes
with the 2nd line of the last tercet.

The moon was lost, he was bewildered much
Frenzied atonce he cruised advertently

Ang Matanda Sa Munting Dampa Sa Gitna Ng Mga Puno Ng Bayabas

Doon sa munting dampa
sa gitna ng mga puno ng bayabas
nakatira ang isang matandang
walang makapagsabi
kung lalaki o babae.

Mula sa malayo'y
tanging maputi niyang buhok
ang aking natanaw
dahil sa mga kahoy na bakod
na nakapalibot
sa kanyang munting paraiso.

Kanyang kuwento'y
di ko gaanong narinig
sapagkat sa mga kapitbahay
siya'y walang ugnay
tanging alam ng lahat

Ang Locket ni Inay

Ang locket ni Inay, ginto't kumikinang
Ay aking kinuha sa kanyang lagayan
Ito'y nilagyan ko ng litrato ni 'sweet'
At sa aking leeg, agad isinabit

Ang aking kwintas ay nakita ni mahal
At ang kanyang tanong, 'Saan ba galing 'yan? ?
Yan ba'y binili mo o merong nagbigay? '
''Di ko 'to binili, bigay 'to ni Inay.
At ang litrato mo'y dito daw ilagay
Sagisag ng tunay ko na pagmamahal.'

'Ay ang ganda naman, puwede bang makita? '
'Aba'y puwedeng-puwede, siyempre, mahal kita.'

Nakita ni mahal ang kanyang larawan
At kilig na kilig, ako'y hinalikan
Kasabay ang sabing 'Ay! Ang sweet mo naman! '
