Quotes about Firefly, page 2

Megalomania

Bird perched, Branch fell
Bird thought, “I did”.
Hen cackled, Sun Rose
Hen thought, “I did”.
Frog croaked, Cloud rained
Frog thought, “I did”
Firefly flashed, Bushfire razed
Firefly thought, “I did”.
Fish peed, river flooded
Fish thought, “I did”
Lion roared, MGM movies began
Lion thought, 'I did'
She attempted, Success followed
She thought, “I did”.

WHAT DID YOU DO?
AND WHAT HAPPENED?

Flash the Firefly in you......

light capture the flash of the neon night sky and
hold deep into thy heart the melted snow in your
very eyes, like a dream in the firefly sky

behold the glitter shadow of twilight zoom of
lighted teardrops of tears, deep in thy heart the
love of forever knows the meant of each other,
for a lifetime. bestowed us the kids, to cherries
and love today for a lasting memory

may all the magnus force, showered the horizon
presence of smiley face of ageless humid of
loving tender kiss my dear heart; and bring us to
the land beyond compare, as i say speechless
eternity

a never pointless journey of waiting, has search
the beginning of spark of every firefly in your
dream of heart, take and will start it all over again,
no matter how far you'll go, i'll always wait you

Dancing Adairs

Behold me, in my chiffon, gauze, and tinsel,
Flitting out of the shadow into the spotlight,
And into the shadow again, without a whisper!-
Firefly's my name, I am evanescent.

Firefly's your name. You are evanescent.
But I follow you as remorselessly as darkness,
And shut you in and enclose you, at last, and always,
Till you are lost,-as a voice is lost in silence.

Till I am lost, as a voice is lost in silence. . .
Are you the one who would close so cool about me?
My fire sheds into and through you and beyond you:
How can your fingers hold me? I am elusive.

How can my fingers hold you? You are elusive?
Yes, you are flame, but I surround and love you,
Always extend beyond you, cool, eternal,
To take you into my heart's great void of silence.

If It Becomes So

if it becomes so
that in wishing for the star
to have to touch its glitter like it were a firefly in my glass bowl

if it is so
that i, this poet, shall glow like the star and the firefly
glowing like a bright star

it it is so that like all those before me
one buries her head inside an oven
and the other hangs his strongest sigh on that tree and takes
death for an answer to the questions

if it be so
that i tomorrow morning shall turn into a cockroach and shall be asked to leave
and that i may find myself in the middle of winter and drive this horse
and talk about
lament

if it it takes, a lifetime of offering to be at the side of the gods

A Firefly that scatter the sky

saved the mother earth, and witness the glooming
sky, as its dawning morn invites to come; calling the
humming birds laid the sweeten humid morning
midst of the trunk it’s lay

yet! look up the proud birds sleeplessly watch the
roar of the blue sea, something they want to whisper
in our deaf ears that can’t say, with the sparkles of
the swing of branches, neither the harmony of
wonderful song gives hearty melody in the tips of our
dream of a lonely yesterday

come as the leaf invites every heart to dance and
touch every journey of volatile immortality of each
lips and wonder the genes offer to whistle our hope of
eternity

let it every paint color our dream of firefly in ages we
live and forward that hibernation to wake our lasting
beautiful light shine, in the dark; for tomorrow is the

Epilogue II

When dusk falls cool as a rained-on rose,
And a tawny tower the twilight shows,
With the crescent moon, the silver moon, the curved new moon in a space that glows,
A turret window that grows a-light;
There is a path that my Fancy knows,
A glimmering, shimmering path of night,
That far as the Land of Faery goes.

II.

And I follow the path, as Fancy leads,
Over the mountains, into the meads,
Where the firefly cities, the glowworm cities, the fairy cities are strung like beads,
Each city a twinkling star:
And I live a life of valorous deeds,
And march with the Fairy King to war,
And ride with his knights on milk-white steeds.

III.

Yellow Wildflowers Under A Grey Sky

Yellow wildflowers under a grey sky,
visionary smog on the dirty windows,
a genie in a crack pipe that ungrants
whatever wishes you came with
thinking six rocks might be enough
to make a whole new planet
everybody gets to rule
for an hour and a half
like fresh strawberries
and a brand new start. Fat chance.

The spring dawn has run out of preludes
and it's using spider webs
and dreamcatchers for substitutes.
Could be a lifeboat, could be a shipwreck,
could be this cataract of ash
in my third eye, could be the distant cinder
of a depressed seagull on my bent event horizon.

High calibre thoughts

As Much As I Love The Stars

As much as I love the stars, I know
the spirit must seek its lost radiance
in the midst of the filth of this world,
even when its third eye is trying
to wash it off in tears it really means.
Under the half-closed eyelid
of the pine cone pagoda in oceanic meditation
is a fire-seed waiting for immolation
like an overdue urn about to give birth.
And do you see how the moon
feathers the waves with silver,
and the breathing waters so much
like the flesh of a woman undulating
under the caress of an unaccustomed hand
shines back like fish swimming through a starmap?

As above so below. Same with inside and outside.
Astrophysics is psychology. Noumena, phenomena.
Are you looking for a unified, field theory of your mind?
Study that small sacred syllable of a black ant

I Circumnavigated My Eyes

I circumnavigated my eyes
to wash these ashen rags of grief off
like the torn sails of the Magellanic Clouds.
I knew how deeply I was lost
when I set my starmaps afire
because they got in the way of the shining,
to give them a first hand experience
of lighting things up for themselves
like arsonists playing with draconian desire.
Took me years to get the last shadow
of your misdirected spearhead out of my heart,
make white noise out of the snarling chainsaw
that accompanied you like a seeing-eye dog.

At first the intensity of the pain
clued me forensically into thinking
the sheer immensity of your crime of passion,
the number of times you stabbed me through the heart
meant you loved me more than you cared to let on
but then I noticed all your knives were smiling
