Living a Lie
Everyday i wake up lying to myself
Everyday i wake up denying who i am
For the sake of my father
He hates who i am
He hates the fact that i'm a lesbian
But i'm living a lie
I lie to myself everytime i say
That i'm not a lesbian
I'm living a lie
and i can't stand it
It's driving me insane
I wish i could stop lying to myself
I wish he could appcept me
and not just see me for a lesbian,
but for who i really am

By a dismal cypress lying: A Song from the Italian
By a dismal cypress lying,
Damon cried, all pale and dying,
Kind is death that ends my pain,
But cruel she I lov'd in vain.
The mossy fountains
Murmur my trouble,
And hollow mountains
My groans redouble:
Ev'ry nymph mourns me,
Thus while I languish;
She only scorns me,
Who caus'd my anguish.
No love returning me, but all hope denying;
By a dismal cypress lying,
Like a swan, so sung he dying:
Kind is death that ends my pain,
But cruel she I lov'd in vain.

Beating
Blood trickiling, pouring down my face.
Another humiliating moment of disgrace.
Lying in a corner filled with pain.
I feel nothing but totall shame.
I'm tired of being beaten cold,
by a world and love I feel so old.
I feel so lonley lying here,
my face is swollen from the beating and the tears.
It has to stop or I'll go mad,
the thought of which makes me very sad.
I love them so but it really hurts.
I think I must leave before I'm beat to eternal sleep.

Safe Agency
Agents are lying, governments are disposing,
You’ll need your ID, and then be arrested;
Far away is the prison, an implant is your partner,
Slavery disembowels you, vomiting you,
Your lying is apparent, the agents are again,
Where is the information?
My liar is near, his informing air is there,
When he questions me he lies.
I have to lie, my conscience does not lie,
And may I die, into a thousand pieces
Just when a government resides in its chair
To haul me to safety,
And it did!

Ask how she is she just lies
Ask her how she is she just lies.
She wont tell you the truth.
Even though it's fixed in her eyes.
Ask her how she is.
She'll tell you she's just fine.
But she's lying she's not coping that well.
Ask her how she's doing.
She'll tell you she's just fine.
She's lying though.
She's not coping to well.
Lifes troubles and stuff have got her down.
Ask her how she is.
But she'll lie and tell you she's fine.
She dosent want you to know.
She don't want to let you know.
That shes going to take her life one day soon.

Lie To Me
Kent, rent, sent, bent, tent, went, cent, dent, gent, lent, pent, vent;
And like a joyful sound!
But you are lying to me and i can see it on your face.
Pat, Nat, cat, bat, tat, sat, fat, gat, hat, lat, mat, rat, vat;
And with the acknowledgements of my muse!
But lie to me and let me be on guard,
And like the war songs in the land of your muse.
Furry, burrito, bury, curry, burly, burr, hurry, jury;
To put on a mantel for the battle!
But you are lying to me and i can see it on your face.

Lying Naked
sunset to nightfall.
undressing slowly,
as years pass like shadows
that cant be grasped.
lying naked in the darkness.
the hypnotic hum of the fan,
the cool breeze lapping at my body.
listening for the sound
of footsteps from long ago.
but only the sound of a car passing,
and a neighbor's dog barking.
lying naked in the darkness
my spirit gets up and walks away,
my body calm as fallen leaves
nightfall to eternity.
a kiss, a dropp of blood.

They Lied...
they lied to you...
lied to you about Vietnam.
lied about JFK,
about Bobby Kennedy,
about Martin Luther King.
they lied about trade agreements,
about global warming,
about oil spills,
about mining disasters,
about nuclear power.
they lied about 9/11,
about Iraq, and weapons
of mass destruction.
they lied about Afghanistan,
they're lying about Iran.
they lied about Wall Street,
about the national debt.
they lied yesterday,
and they're lying today.
when are we going to quit

Web Of Lies
Caught in your web of lies,
and you can’t get out,
Your spider is doing time
In your prison of doubt.
Doubting now what is the truth,
You can’t keep it straight
and now it’s bugging you.
Yes, the lying bugs are going to start eating at your web,
Chewing on it and making it shred,
Shred to pieces for bugs are taking over thee,
They are in your mind and you can’t set them free.
Your mind is contaminated with your lying bug fleas,
Adding to your mind’s delusional state,
the state that you did make.

Venite Descendamus
Let be at last; give over words and sighing,
Vainly were all things said:
Better at last to find a place for lying,
Only dead.
Silence were best, with songs and sighing over;
Now be the music mute;
Now let the dead, red leaves of autumn cover
A vain lute.
Silence is best: for ever and for ever,
We will go down and sleep,
Somewhere beyond her ken, where she need never
Come to weep.
Let be at last: colder she grows and colder;
Sleep and the night were best;
Lying at last where we cannot behold her,
We may rest.
