Quotes about capitalism, page 16
Karl Marx
Karl Marx,
atheist,
advocate of force
in overthrowing capitalism...
now knows that God
is and that God's force
is love

Ca pitalists started World War II,
the Vietnam War, the wars in Iraq
starting with Churchill's bombing of 9000
in 1920. Capitalists are waging
the invasive wars in Afghanistan.
Capitalists as colonialists invaded
over 100 countries, spreading racism
theft and violence.

Zoo Animals
Zoo Animals
Jubilant Tripoli
Guns in every unsure hand
They call it freedom.
While zoo animals go unfed
A Kaddafi son cared for them.
It doesn’t matter now
Do not prioritize beasts
They are dumb beings
And have nothing to offer
In our blind struggle for freedom
And global capitalism.
So set the camels free to find
Their own oasis; let the lion
Roam the vast hinterland
And the eagle, soar high above
Human’s murderous pursuit.

Capitalism Is The Way To Go
There are those,
With conservative beliefs.
Who argue amongst themselves...
About spreading the wealth,
In a society based upon greed.
One in which a few...
Isolate and feed.
And they debate and agree...
That in a democracy,
Capitalism is the way to go...
Out!
Like a light.
Exhausted!
From the lack of shared and supplied,
Energy!
Unsupported by those...
Who would rather sit back and fatten.
To feast!

Religion of Austerity
Strip me of the excesses of a living wage.
Lead me to the religion of austerity.
Cleanse my desire to attain all my basic needs,
So I can pursue financial morality.
Show me to the Kingdom of Capitalism.
Define the extent of my spiritual price.
I will learn from ritualistic suffering
And become a better person through sacrifice.
Teach me the holy virtues of sovereignty.
Give me something to worship. Let my heart open,
So I can find my draconian salvation.
Tell me what is waiting at the gates of its heaven.

Fast Food Generation
everyday, thousands die
because they canne' afford medicine
yet everyday, thousands o tons
are fed te coo's, poultry and chickens
Third World Governments, hands are tied
by pharmaceutical patent
fur the corporations sue
those wha help, their children
Global capitalism controls
the World Bank and I.M.F
Blackmailing developing countries
privitization, fur cheap loans and credit
yep, we are the Fast Food Generation
living a total lie
indebted, up te oor eyeballs
in television and credit card bide

Is Capitalism Dead?
Is capitalism dead?
For those keeping candlelight vigils...
In hopes of a miracle.
A team of resuscitators,
Are currently in the process...
To socialize the outcome.
In the event the announcement,
Of its demise traumaticizes.
With plans to introduce,
A smooth transition of priorities.
However...
A shipment of candles,
Is expected soon.
It seems they wish not to disappoint those,
Accustomed to traditions.
Those they wish to remain as practiced.
With the realization that these acts,
Are more effective if faithfully kept intact!

Tearfully Begging For Forgiveness
Deviant behavior,
Taught!
And thought to be cute,
From one's birth...
Until the budding of appearing youth,
Is not going to be easily subjected...
To campaigns of not being morally accepted.
Capitalism as witnessed,
Has no regard for morality!
Not when the marketing of it...
Is commercialized on TV.
And depicted as sinful...
By those tearfully begging for forgiveness.
After years of preaching wholesomeness...
In robed self righteous stances,
From behind pulpits.
And those who speak truth,
Are chased away as if lepers!

Tribute To Oku Onuora
The poet's pen, like a sword,
cuts through unconsciousness.
Each word, each line in sync
cutting and burning in a pot of dub,
dubbed wise the poetry of justice.
Dubbing in freedom,
dubbing out lies and oppression.
Dub, dub, dubwise!
Metaphysical ink cannot be contained:
It is life, giving hope to the captives
and the socially wounded.
It needs no affirmation
or confirmation.
It just drips dub, dub, dubwise!
Heed the poet's calling:
He cannot lie,
he cannot die,
he exorcises

My Poor King In His Shanties Who Applies For A Coffin Maker?
No need a scaffolding, a studio
for my new painting and a paint brush
paint or a big canvas?
I use my thumb for shading,
on a throw away news paper
with few pastels that belongs to my grandson
I draw my new king with a big moustache
and a dead fly on his chin as a birth mark?
A cigarette butt fitted to his mouth
tittled as 'My poor King in his shanties
who applies for a coffin maker? '
He reads of Picasso, George Braque
Modiglianni & Van Gogh?
I was not influenced by Cubism or Surrealism
Capitalism or Socialism
But only Humanism with a mug of cheap Milwaukee bitter Beer?

Very Inspiring Stuff
Where are you going?
'To the debates.'
I thought you stayed away from politics?
'That was yesterday.
Before I decided I would get into comedy.
Yesterday...
One of the debaters accused the other,
Of being a 'Capitalist'.
Because he actually stated...
He had 'no' lack of fear of cutting jobs,
To aid big business.
And...
Just a week ago they were all accusing,
The current leader for being a 'Socialist'.
With claims he was against 'Capitalism'.'
That's nuts.
