Quotes about tore, page 15
Brooding Grief
A yellow leaf from the darkness
Hops like a frog before me.
Why should I start and stand still?
I was watching the woman that bore me
Stretched in the brindled darkness
Of the sick-room, rigid with will
To die: and the quick leaf tore me
Back to this rainy swill
Of leaves and lamps and traffic mingled before me.

Paper Heart
You ripped it
You broke it
You scrunched it
You smoked it
You tore it
You glued it
You cut it
You chewed it
You shred it
You beat it
You burn it
You heat it
You break it
You fold it
You dropp it
You sold it

Pull The Skin
Pull the skin as a beauty forming grim,
Baths tore apart the skin of a forelimb.
Though labours battle to damn the concert,
Something collects where he lay with discomfort.
Skin is the work of a life to connect,
Controversial agony is to correct;
The currents to greatly wear are spotted,
This skinned animal I saw was guarded.

There Was a Bonie Lass - A fragment
There was a bonie lass, and a bonie, bonie lass,
And she lo'ed her bonie laddie dear;
Till War's loud alarms tore her laddie frae her arms,
Wi' mony a sigh and tear.
Over sea, over shore, where the cannons loudly roar,
He still was a stranger to fear;
And nocht could him quail, or his bosom assail,
But the bonie lass he lo'ed sae dear.

The Ship of My Life
The ship of my life it is sinking
falling beneath a great wave
and all this has set me to thinking
life will send me to an early grave
What will I do without you
how will I ever survive
none of this is new
I just can't thrive
He tore you away from me
he said you couldn't be mine
and so I sink into this sea
and the world will go on just fine

My Past, Present and Future
past, present and future
feelings churning
until the bottom of my heart
tore the walls of reason
banging his dream
into the present
and imagine the future
the fire of hell
young people
who choose the course
individually
was the coolness of the wind
the breezy
sometimes there
under the shade of the leaves
mango tree
in front of my house

About The Father
the father fell down from the second floor
broke a leg and tore his ankle
crawling his way
in the middle of the suffocating smoke
he heard the cries
of the boy
and yet the cruel tongues of the devil
snatched away what it thinks belongs
to it on such a horror
there is no peace now
the ash still want to tell the stories
of the tragedy

No second Helen
I loved a woman
who was beautiful
just like Helen of Troy
and with pills and depression,
she was plagued under my own eyes.
Our love nest became a dark cave
and at times it tore through me
when the sun
was blocked out from the windows
and I saw her suffer there.
With time she hanged her cloak
somewhere else
and I wonder if at times
she catches a ray of the sun?

Fake Smile
After all I've been through,
I really don't know,
how to love,
or even how to smile.
When I smile,
it's usually fake,
to cover up,
the pain I feel.
I don't think,
I've actually smiled,
unless I was,
with you.
But now I can't,
even smile then,
because of all,
you've said to me.

My Heart Is Aching
MY HEART IS ACHING
Because I'm so in pain
my heart is aching because you put me to shame
my heart is aching because you tore it out
my heart is aching because you shut me down
my heart is aching because you said it would be for eternity
my heart is aching because i cant stop hearing your name
that is why i' m in so much pain
